You’re right very strange ending. One of the girls in the bar finally admitted that Sa was a problem and the last she heard she was in Phuket. I'm personally boycotting that bar. I know the lies are 2nd nature and they’re only protecting their own but I also feel like we have supported that bar in some really bad times. Oh well, there's only like 20K+ other bars here.

I've never heard of Bird Inn but the Full Love Inn maps.app.goo.gl/41brkFuK8WzPzUaHA This is a short term hotel with rooms mostly available for 3 hours. It's designed for privacy. You can pull your car or motorbike into an empty stall and an attendant will pull a curtain closed for your privacy. Like I say, it's normally 300 baht for 3 hours. It's a basic room with a king bed, porno on tv, no windows. You can probably google it to get more info.

I enjoyed my military career but don't miss it at all. I'm enjoying my retirement years now. There is a lot of military people though in this area that have retired here as well.

I’m sorry that I’ve been traveling and that’s the reason for the late reply only have one video on this area. Otherwise I still live about 40 minutes north and I hate to give you anything that’s not current. I moved here on a whim because of covid and found that about half my debit/credit cards were expiring in the 1st year I was here. The last time I was in the USA, I updated all of my cards.

@MargaritasinParadise Here's a question I am concerned about. If I bring a fairly large check from an American bank made out to me ,will a thai bank accept that and open up a savings account for me ? I can't see why they wouldn't as they can check it digitally .If I could do it ,l would just open a thai bank account at your bankok bank that you use from here and transfer the money into it. But I believe I will need to open the account in person once I get there. .It's something I need to.discuss with the guy at one stop maybe .Daz I think is his name ,right ?the englishmen

I almost guarantee you will have a problem with the check in Thailand. Do not rely anything on a check, bring cash or do a wire transfer.

Excellent, which band is it?

There's lots of great musicians here in Pattaya. Retired Muso's end up here and start hanging in local bars. Next thing you know they start up a new hobby band ect... Another good venue is Happy 2 Bar on Naklua Soi 18 on Monday nights. They have an open mic, which literally draw all the biggies.

The Naklua area competes closely with central Pattaya. The things I like is being say 5 minutes away from the main traffic & main nightlife noise. But, still right in the mix of restaurants & beach life. Naklua/Wongamat has some fantastic values.

You'd love it here during the day! The beaches are great and there are lots of friendly people. So many things to do both day & night.

The thing is this year has probably broke records for the high season. It all has to do with certain days in my opinion. The red light areas are always full but the tourist areas have there bedtimes for instance; anything past 11pm and I think normal tourist are a sleep. hahaha
