Very nice, but at these prices, it makes more sense financially to rent.

This area is definitely a rental market. Check with Happy Life Realty for other options. www.happyliferealty.net

These are my style places, but I am not looking to buy, so it would be cool if you could od a video of rentals in your area vs. Jomtien.
For me, proximity to local and street food would be a must.

I was just talking about the rental subject with Rich today. Thanks for the input.

Like you wrote in the end, have in mind that the Copacabana amenities and the location/views, together with the sheer quality, are the main reason for these prices. This is high quality condos at its finest, you will feel like you are constantly living in a 5 star hotel/resort, with everything you would want on your premises. Renting here might be a good option though. If you want more space for less money, there are plenty of options a bit farther from the beach, or at the older buildings.

@DROIDZ_RUclips Thank you, Sir, that was very kind words 🙏 I try to support Tom the best I can, he has become a favourite of mine too 😊 And I'm happy to answer questions at any time 😉 I actually did have serious plans of starting my own youtube channel, but I've just been too busy. And most youtubers cover any Thai topics these days anyway. Maybe it could catch someone's interest to watch a Thai woman's perspective on things though 😀 Maybe in the future 🙏😊

@sarlina1 I agree, there are so many options when it comes to accommodations here. I see this trend of super condo's for instance. Offering 5-star amenities. I wonder how long does all this last though? In 10 years what is the outlook for Jomtien? I have a friend at Park Beach on Wongamat. He bought his 3bd/3ba condo 20+ years ago for ฿8M baht, within 5 years like condo's in the same building were bringing ฿40M, now he would be lucky to get ฿15M. The amenities were maintained for a long period of time but eventually there were cuts and it's apparent now.

@@MargaritasinParadise Yes I wonder the same. But as long as hundreds of youtubers are promoting Jomtien and Pattaya as THE destination for westerners to retire (it's hard to disagree 😊), sun and beach-hungry (and lady-hungry 😉) expats will continue to enter Thailand and Pattaya/Jomtien in huge numbers. But how many of these enormous projects will this place be able to handle? Prices now seem relatively stable, but you are getting smaller and smaller condos for your money. These new projects are squeezing out every centimeter. But as an investment for the future, I'm not so sure. There are many thousands of vacant condos in the area. Is Pattaya ready for these next 10-20 years? Renting seems more and more like the best option for most expats in the long run, but have in mind that these projects are indeed quickly sold out, so there is definitely not a lack of buyers, or investors. And as long as they have investors and buyers, these projects will keep popping up, and the older ones might be neglected as a result 😊 When will enough be enough, is a legitimate question 😊

Does your phone video have stability control? It would make them more enjoyable if you used it.

Yes it does and I use a Gimbal for stabilization as well. Unfortunately I have "essential tremors" some days are worse then others although I take meds to control them. Ideally most of my videos are shot from a stationary tripod which eliminates the shake.

I find it hard to understand why such interesting projects are sometimes diminished by the use of rather kitschy color tones. If they kept things lighter, perhaps opting for soft pastels instead of brown hues, with no gold accents (!), and focusing on a more simple, solid design, it would be more in line with my personal taste. However, I completely understand that taste is subjective, and it's something that can be debated without taking anything away from one another's preferences. After all, what appeals to one person may not necessarily be the same for someone else, and that’s perfectly okay.

Obviously, if you bought. You could renovate to your taste. I know one customer that didn't like the furniture and basically refurnished the entire place to his liking.
