For those trying too get their practical i recommend looking around for a certified company that has a good test crane. It took me 2 tries to get my practical done cause the first crane was 1995 30t RT with a manual brake pedal and that thing felt like it was made of plastic. 2nd try i tested somewhere else and the difference in crane was night and day, this crane actually had working AC and was smooth to the touch. So dont stay fixed on one crane look around for one that is fairly new and nut rusted.

Same for myself, 1st test failed was paying too much attention to the time, and crane was not smooth had a hard spot in the swing. 2nd time passed ignore the stop watch. just paid attention to what I was doing

You but a lot of key points but Dont forget that getting use to the crane you'll be tested on by actually practicing on it nearly guarantees you a calmness/passing.... Feels like taking an open book test 50/50 odds

Spot on, Miguel! By practicing on the crane you will be using for the test, you will be more comfortable, since you are familiar with the controls.
