Beauties controlling the beasts
The nccco test making people test under the threat of a stop watch and timer is the bjggest crap they ever came up with. Nobody on a job site stands around with a stop watch tinimg picks!! The whole test is for $$$$ for some entity to make easy money and cause workers more problems making a wage!! Its all about $$$ the more you fail the more money they make!!

This is a great question. You do not need a CDL license before taking this program.

I agree no music. But I swear our crane operators Face expression of happiness as he's flying inn control of 80,000 pounds . Probably hears that music inn his head. Chill ,serious and loving his job so I give the music a 4.

What is cco?
Who are these guys. What have they run? And for how long? There's no introductions.
I use the 10 inch on the load as well. easiest way to explain and to find your multiplier for half the load.

For those trying too get their practical i recommend looking around for a certified company that has a good test crane. It took me 2 tries to get my practical done cause the first crane was 1995 30t RT with a manual brake pedal and that thing felt like it was made of plastic. 2nd try i tested somewhere else and the difference in crane was night and day, this crane actually had working AC and was smooth to the touch. So dont stay fixed on one crane look around for one that is fairly new and nut rusted.
Same for myself, 1st test failed was paying too much attention to the time, and crane was not smooth had a hard spot in the swing. 2nd time passed ignore the stop watch. just paid attention to what I was doing

Yeah the two companies I worked for didn't use half those signals.
Thank you for the reply! Depending on the line of work you are in, there are times where not all signals are used. However, when communicating in the field, the standard signals must be used. If your job site has developed additional communication gestures, no alternate signal may be used that conflicts with the standard signal. So is a practice test ??? Do y’all do actual cco test because when I did it they would absolutely not tell you if you passed or failed and if it is a practice test is the real test included with the class or do you have to pay for 2 separate classes????
We actually offer 2 types of classes! The one in the video is our own course which gives you a certificate that your employer can use to deem you as qualified. The test results are immediate in this course. We also offer the CCO Preparatory Course, which is also a 5-day program. In this class, we prepare you to take the CCO examination, and at the end of the course, you take the CCO written and practical examinations. The CCO gives you your test results about 3 weeks after the exams are taken. Upon passing the exams, you are certified through the CCO, which is transferrable between employers. You can take one or both of these courses. We recommend our course for beginners and the CCO preparatory course for experienced operators. I hope this answers your questions. Do you need Experience before going to school how hard is it
For CICB's Mobile Crane Operator Training Course, no experience is necessary. Our highly trained instructors begin with the basics since this is considered a beginner's course. Our class sizes also have a small student to instructor ratio. If you need additional help with the material, we will ensure you understand all components.
Interesting can be translated into Spanish
Our Rigger Courses can be taught in Spanish. 😄
