      Thank you for your comment Ravi. It's certainly hard to go back to the hustle and bustle of big cities and capitalism in general after spending time with more minimalist communities. Our travels and work has introduced the 'degrowth' movement to us, particularly in the global north where we've overshot our planetary resources profoundly. We are certainly committed to changing our lifestyles and this is a big inspiration for our upcoming adventure and project, the 'floating stories lab', where we want to create resilience and share stories and knowledge aboard our future floating home (sailboat!).

    When in India you should visit ~
    1. For White sand Turquoise water Beaches----> a) Andaman Nicobar Islands ( in it Havelock's, Neil Island, Rose and Smith Islands, Elephanta beach, Radha Nagar beach).
    b) Lakshyadweep Islands ( Bangaram Islands, Thinikara, Minikoy, Kadmat, Agati Islands.)
    2. For Desserts and Palaces ----> Rajasthan - Udaipur, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Pushkar, Jaisalmer offers (overnight stay in dessert, bonfire under moonlit sky/ camel safari).
    3. For Snow Clad Mountains, Himalayas ----> Ladhak, Leh, Nubra valley, Tso moriri, Pagong lake, Tawang, Manali, Spiti valley, Sikkim - Nathu la pass, Gurudongmar lake, Lachung, Tsomgo lake/Changu lake, Yumthang Valley, Mcleodganj/Dharamshala (snows in winter).
    4. For Backwaters, Tree House, Boat House ----> Kerala - Munnar, Wayanad, Alleppy, Varkala beach, Kovallam beach, Idduki, Thekkady.
    5. For Tropical Beaches ----> Goa - Beaches - Butterfly beach, Vagator, Calangute, Anjuna, Colva, & Benaulim, Fort Aguada, Church of Mae De Deus, Basilica of Bom Jesus, Temple of Bodgeshwar, St Xavier’s Church, Grand Island (for watersports), Dudhsagar Waterfalls.
    6. For Religious tourism and Ganga ----> Rishikesh, Golden temple, Akshardam temple (delhi), Dharamshala (Himachal), Ranakpur temple, Bodh Gaya, monasteries in North east (leh, Ladhak, Sikkim, Tawang).
    7. For Exotic and Different Architecture ----> Hampi, jadayu earth centre kerala, Badami cave, love temple Khajuraho, Mahabalipuram, Ellora caves, Ramoji Film City.
    8. For Hill stations ----> Sikkim, munnar, Ooty, coorg, chitmangloor, shillong, Manali, Kodaikanal.
    9. For Wildlife Safari ----> Jim Corbett - Uttarakhand, Kaziranga National Park, Ranthambore National Park, Hemis National Park, Bandhavgarh National Park, Sasan-Gir Wildlife Sanctuary, Kanha National Park.
    10. For Forts, Palaces, Temples ----> Delhi - Forts, Kingdom of dreams - Gurugram, Akshardam temple, Rajasthan, Mysore, Gujarat, Agra -Tajmahal etc.
    11. North East India---> Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim.
    India is 29 states 7 Union Territory. Each state is distinct and diverse by race, ethnicity, cuisine, language, festivals, ethnic dress, religion, mannerisms etc. No one state is similar to the other. Therefore India or indians cannot be stereotyped in one category for anything. Each state experience is unique to that state/area. Google each "Indian state tourist spots" based on your preference you want to visit (dessert, fort, snow, palaces, hill station, himalayas, temples, etc you'll get tourist spots for it).
    Best time to visit India is in winters - Oct to Jan end. .

    Hi! Rickshaw wasn't a good decision
    It has balancing issues due to 3 tiers. Please avoid it especially in Himalayan region. I don't doubt his driving skills though.

    In India uh can c rich cultural legacy, varities of food choices, historical landmarks, ,thousand year old ornately sculptured temples, Caves, forts , marvelous architecture, magnificent natural wonders, animal sanctuaries, National parks,UNESCO World Heritage Sites (40), folk arts ,numerous styles of dances, different music instruments ,philosophy and science, ancient texts, vibrant democracy n what not...
    Ancient practices of healing such as Ayurveda and Yoga.
    Traditional values with Modern infrastructure development ,modern skyscrapers. It's called the land of mysteries .

    Those are Indian monasteries. Incase you didn't know, Buddhism originated in India, there is a Buddhist population in India.

      In Ladakh there are Indians and Tibetans. We spent time with native Ladakhi people in their villages and those videos are coming soon.

      @@voyagevirage tibetians are spread around whole India but majority in Ladakh, Uttrakhand and Himachal pradesh, they are there because they fled Tibet as China controlled it and controlled sprituality and Tibetian buddhism,
      But not all people having mongoloid features in India are Tibetians, most are Indians themselves from same places ladakh, upper hp, upper uttrakhand and from 7 states of north eastern India•

    It's important that new generation mydt be brought more close to nature. It's certain that current standard of living set by west is not the humen are supposed to have indefinitely. The current life standards benchmark is certainly going against Mother nature. Therefore children's observations about is very natural. I support next generation stake holders of this mother planet. We including you as current resident of this planet has solemn responsibility of passing healthier planet to next generation. They r not demanding but it's their right.

      I wouldn’t say it was easy. But in terms of movement, as Australian and French citizens we were granted a 1month tourist visa for India.

      We stayed with a family who are living sustainably, we didn’t feel this was showcasing poverty? The home stay was beautiful, the hosts incredibly kind, the food amazing, the views superb. We show what we see and experience as it happened.
