Sacred clay offerings and their antique moulds.

Here’s a brief introduction to one of my smaller cultural projects . I've been collecting the antique ritual clay offerings and their Bronze and clay moulds for about 25 years . But since being based in Nepal I’ve made a concurred effort to find as wide a variety of the offerings and moulds as possible. I love the beauty naturalness and personality of these clay offerings , but unfortunately they have very largely fallen out of use in modern Nepal and Tibet . The offerings and moulds are now fairly rare to find so it’s taken the last 7 years until I had enough variety to start making the old offerings again . I already begun making the traditional, clay hanuman oil lamps. With 2 Nepalis friends in Pottery square in Bhaktapur and I hope to begin making the offerings again soon . It would be wonderful if it were possible to bring these old clay offerings of the different gods back in to Nepalis culture again ❤️❤️❤️
