everyone preaches about how wrong slothfulness is, and how the bible says its wrong, and what it looks like (hands folded)....but many people who suffer slothfulness do not want to be slothful.... are not bad people.... there is something deeper going on. it would be so helpful if there was more instruction, loving instruction on HOW to overcome sloth. many individuals who are slothful are not so because they "don't want to work" but that they suffer from fear that God does not have a plan for their lives. so the sloth is a kind of depression too that they are unworthy of a purpose in God. so many people don't even know what work to do. we need more instruction on what that looks like....not on how wrong it is to be slothful.
