  • The 1960s series "My Three Sons" was a wildly popular show featuring the beloved Fred MacMurray as the Douglas family patriarch. Millions of Baby Boomers have fond memories of the show and its catchy theme song with the animated toe-tapping.

Polly, Chips wife, was Ronnie Troop, Bobby Troops daughter (Emergency). Bobby Troop was married to Julie London (Cry me a river song hit and Emergency). I think she became a teacher and is still alive.

It's Troup. That's how they spell their last name. Anyway, Julie London had something in common with me: diabetes. She managed this condition well until she passed away at age 74. I liked watching her and Bobby Troup on Emergency! Bobby also appeared in the motion picture MASH.

Thanku for that information about family I've grown to love, let the ones who are no longer with us rest in peace. I'm proud of chip, they all were handsome young men even the father.

Two of those pics of 'Meredith' is actually Tina Cole.

I humbly recommend that you get your photos correct with the voice over. You had pictures of Tina Cole who played Robbie 's wife Katie and a picture of Sheila Macrae who was Merrideth's real mom during Sally 's segment. Just an observation.

Michael Gallegos not only that but Don Grady also appeared throughout the run of the show. The narrator says only Macmurray and Stanley Livingston did. Sheesh!

I'm glad that you two pointed out these inaccuracies. If you produce a video proclaiming to give "answers", then I think it's only fitting that your answers are correct.

The video has some terrible mistakes, but actually, Don Grady wasn't in the final (12th) season of the show. As IMDB puts it, "When Don Grady left the show in the final season, his absence was explained by having Robbie get transferred to Peru by his job."

the picture they showed of supposedly Meredith McRae, was her mother Sheila McRae

  • @bi-costalteacher1281

Wrong pictures of McRae . That’s Tina Cole and that’s Sheila McRae, Mereditr’s Mother in the last photo. This is my era and my Mother was Sheila McRae’s costumer for her 4 appearances on Ed Sullivan show in New York.

I am sure there is nothing wrong with the show but when I was a little boy my mom would watch it everyday and I hated the show big big time. I think it come on in the mornings and back in them days they only showed cartoons for a couple of hours in the mornings and when she had this on it cut into my cartoon time. This show was not made for children and to this day I still have bitters memory's and hate the show.

It's a goody two shoes show with the goody goody dull older son with the drippy girlfriend and the two younger goofy but goody sons. Yawn and barf. At least Leave It To Beaver had villains like Eddie Haskell, Lumpy Rutherford, Gilbert, etc. that made the show more entertaining.

My childhood must have been sweeter. We had cartoons for several hours in the morning; we could also see Captain Kangaroo, Uncle Al, and Skipper Ryle. Of course, channel 5 had the Paul Dixon Show, which I don't like, so I guess things balance out okay.
