Some infos:
-Any weapons that doesn't contains any mana or magic won't work inside the dungeons and monsters.
-When they awaken their powers they stuck with that level of strength they can only master and improve their techniques based on their class and just accumulate battle experience.
Bonus: S-ranks doesn't mean they all have same strength some is stronger than others and only some Hunters declared as National Level Hunter who strength beyond S-Ranks
