@@SsjutsuFor those who don't know, that extra scene that happened in the beginning of the anime, that wasn't in the manhwa, it was actually in the Korean light novel of solo leveling, so it's safe to say A1 PICTURES will be adapting the solo leveling Korean light novel and sticking to the manhwa artsyle at the same time

I am super hype for the show but I agree as you on I am looking for the full esthetics of the front ground and foreground.
If you what attention to detail look at this 10:27 as they stop to talk you see the light at the background slowly dissipate, because the light source is in front of the group, as the group continue to walk, but this 2 stops and talk..
The studio is A-1 Pictures so the show is in good hands, hopefully.

theres a korean manwha where the mc relives the same day he is offed by the invading monsters until he fullfills the mission given, he gets offed over and over raking up SP and skills that he retains when reviving and it be cool if it was turned into an anime too! This barbarian tower and farming in the tower.

I've read the manwha and the light novel. I LOVED the first episode and I need more.

At first I thought they were trying to pad out the Ep to get it to that point to end it but apparently that opening sequence was from the LN.
This really needs to succeed, because if it does, it's going to motivate other animation studios to properly adapt manhwa and webtoons into anime, I'm desperately waiting for omniscient reader's viewpoint, the beginning after the end, eleceed, sss suicide hunter, windbreaker, the horizon, the boxer, hardcore leveling warrior, second life ranker, unordinary and much more 😂😂

Actually, I think they did an excellent job on this first episode. From a story telling perspective, they introduce you to the world and key figures of the story immediately. While the last half follows the first chapters of the comic. I agree with the commenter below, if they just could have ended with the iconic 'smile'...that would have been the chef's kiss 👌🏿

@Ssjutsu mashle season2, Chained soldier, tales of wedding rings, My instant death ability is overpowered, and Ishura. They're the ones I've watched so far, instant death is a nice isekai and ofc mashle season 2 is already hilarious. Tales of wedding rings is also another isekai, it has a solid intro. I hope these helps brother, not sure if your a harem guy but Chained soldier and tales of wedding rings are.

So I've not read the manwha and was curious about the show since everyone hypes this series up a lot. But episode 1 didn't really leave that much of a impression. I will keep up with it but so far I haven't seen anything to differentiate it from other fantasy meets reality shows. Still curious for next week though!
people are overhyping, i read the manhwa and i loved it but the story is not groundbreaking and sometimes generic what made it popular was it's art which is impossible to replicate in anime format
@@ryder2411yeah it's not overhyped at all, frankly it's perfectly hyped even, the series doesn't need a amazingly complex story, it has good fights, great characters, and very high points when there is such scenes. The story kind of only starts to pick up later in the story anyways. But still you don't need a good story for it to be a good series.
Well this entire first part which is basically now being cut in 2 episodes won't really be to intriguing, so next episode is gonna be the one that usually would capture intrigue. So yeah they did however explain well how the world works in the first episode, so that's very good and seeing that they aren't censoring the gore and blood I love that, cause that's a big part of what I wanted to see in the show.
Once this anime really gets going, it will rival JJK. Readers know what I’m talking about

@@jaredhollenbach237 I’m a dedicated hater, the first half of the webtoon I read was a big waste of time. Just OP mc trope with no real stakes, it’s not even the best in its trope. I can only hope its hyped popularity will lead to an actually good webtoon/light novel/wuxia/other non manga content getting picked up.

It’s a good series. You can’t really judge the whole series if you don’t know about it. The hype is mainly from people who already know about it.

See solo leveling is 2 things. A detailed story novel and a beatiful artistic manwha.
Manwha from my understanding are basically korean manga.
Its hype because if this show does well more manwha can enter the anime scene.
But also the story itself is fun. Sure its a basic power fantasy at times but from what ive heard its very good.
