I chose the 2nd lead not until I saw that soft side of him. he is more actions than words. he showed his love to her by making himself healthy and being by her side. the girl was so into the perfect world and she didnt realize he did so much for her. in the end i realized the 2nd lead was just a distraction I guess? he was too good to be true. but i am happy of the ending. there is no such thing as a perfect couple and a perfect marriage.
I understand why she chose the second guy but let's be realistic as to why she chose not the second guy the first guy my bad she chose him she chose him after knowing the things that he had done but if she didn't know the things he had done she probably wouldn't have chosen them him

Ok, I guess Seunguk really loved Jiwon even though he was bad at showing it. But I feel so bad for Jungi. I really wanted him to have a chance. Wish they gave him some type of happy ending or at least some closure. I felt like he was a little puppy crying after the door hit him in the nose.

Glad she brought it up the question. Being in a long term relationship can become stale. Both of them changed and was taking each other for granted. It makes me wonder if he kept his promise because of an obligation or was there any real deep affection. When it comes down to it they are both committed to each other. Just cannot forget to be affectionate, a warm smile, holding hands, hugs, and smooches. Life can be stressful sometimes but remember to connect with each other. The other guys can probably give her what she wanted yet unless it's a connection between them what was the point. He was a temptation.

When I was watching this drama in the beginning, I thought 'what an asshole Seunguk is' and that Jiwon should just switch to Jungi. I even accused Jiwon of being blindingly stupid in her love. But the development towards the end completely left me crying.. no, weeping. I was guilty of being blind myself for seeing Jungi as a better choice since he's got all the looks and wealth (well, he was not bad being hot and loyal) and failed to see that Seunguk was such a great man. This drama reminded me that time and time, we should not judge completely on what we see and how well we know others. Instead, we should take an effort to stand on other people's shoes. All in all, this was amazing. Still crying and being emotional here. TT^TT
I was thinking that Jungi may love her but his rich family may not be willing to accept her because she is older and from a lower status than them. She made the right choice because Seunguk has proven his loyalty and love for her and her family, and he is willing to take of her entire family as well. It is hard to find a man like that. Character is worth more than riches. Money should never be a factor in deciding who to marry.

I recently watched “Another Wedding” and it touched me in so many ways. I am a romantic and always believed in making sacrifices for the one I love. The love the main characters have for each other was evident in spite of the errors they made while together. The music played towards the end of the movie” Moon River” I heard when I was a boy back in the Philippines. The music brought back memories of my first puppy love. Thank you for the lovely script brought to life by good actors. The main male character is very handsome.

There are direct confession like " I love you", or grand gestures like planned events, or just living everyday protecting one love in the best way one possibly can. This drama just show that there is more ways than what we are accustomed to see through drama.
What's meaningful is never having to ask "why are you marrying me" because your actions have already told me so. I have nothing against actions speaking louder than words in love. However, I do have something against a father saying "you can let her starve, cause heartache just don't die before her and its okay" and a fiance actually doing that. In what universe is letting someone starve and causing them heartache love? There are two real instances in this drama where his actions show love, her going back to the past doesn't count. How many years into their relationship does this occur? What was she supposed to think the rest of the time? Actually this looks like typical drama love. The guy gets to treat the girl as badly as he wants throughout the entire thing, as long as it is proved once in the drama that he cares for her. Then everything is okay.

A girl is always asking for verbal confirmation of love. But the movie is showing that some guy rather show their love through action. I really thought she'll choose Jungi over Seunguk. I was very quick to judge his love because in the beginning it's like he's letting Jiwon to prepare for their wedding. It annoyed me. It's like that only Jiwon wanted that marriage. When Jungi came along and saw how he profess his love to her, I really thought he's the main character since he's the one on the cover so I thought things between them would prosper. I was waiting for the time that Jiwon will break the engagement and marry Jungi instead. And it almost happened after the kiss from Jungi. But what surprised me was when it was revealed why he's so against with the venue. I really felt the pain when I've discovered that he was there when that kiss happened that's why he can't drive Jiwon home when the later came over after an argument. Plus the dream that Jiwon had between her father and Seunguk moved me. I really watched selected scenes over and over again. This story is too good to be simple. The plot is very good - if not great. Hoping to see more movies like this. The denouement is a super twist and I like it. The ending is fantastic.

When I was watching this drama in the beginning, I thought 'what an asshole Seunguk is' and that Jiwon should just switch to Jungi. I even accused Jiwon of being blindingly stupid in her love. But the development towards the end completely left me crying.. no, weeping. I was guilty of being blind myself for seeing Jungi as a better choice since he's got all the looks and wealth (well, he was not bad being hot and loyal) and failed to see that Seunguk was such a great man. This drama reminded me that time and time, we should not judge completely on what we see and how well we know others. Instead, we should take an effort to stand on other people's shoes.
All in all, this was amazing. Still crying and being emotional here. TT^TT
I was thinking that Jungi may love her but his rich family may not be willing to accept her because she is older and from a lower status than them. She made the right choice because Seunguk has proven his loyalty and love for her and her family, and he is willing to take of her entire family as well. It is hard to find a man like that. Character is worth more than riches. Money should never be a factor in deciding who to marry.

i like suenguk and jiwon together. 6 years and they were too comfortable with each other. maybe the spice is not already there anymore but it doesn't mean that the love is lost.

I recently watched “Another Wedding” and it touched me in so many ways. I am a romantic and always believed in making sacrifices for the one I love. The love the main characters have for each other was evident in spite of the errors they made while together. The music played towards the end of the movie” Moon River” I heard when I was a boy back in the Philippines. The music brought back memories of my first puppy love. Thank you for the lovely script brought to life by good actors. The main male character is very handsome.

Which is more meaningful? Saying "I love you" or showing her his love through action.
There are many ways to show love. There are direct confession like " I love you", or grand gestures like planned events, or just living everyday protecting one love in the best way one possibly can.
This drama just show that there is more ways than what we are accustomed to see through drama.
What's meaningful is never having to ask "why are you marrying me" because your actions have already told me so. I have nothing against actions speaking louder than words in love. However, I do have something against a father saying "you can let her starve, cause heartache just don't die before her and its okay" and a fiance actually doing that. In what universe is letting someone starve and causing them heartache love?
There are two real instances in this drama where his actions show love, her going back to the past doesn't count. How many years into their relationship does this occur? What was she supposed to think the rest of the time?
Actually this looks like typical drama love. The guy gets to treat the girl as badly as he wants throughout the entire thing, as long as it is proved once in the drama that he cares for her. Then everything is okay.
AlteringViews First, I do not interpret the dad's saying the same way as you. Of course no parent would want their kid to be starve or experience heartache, but more than those, his no.1 concern is that his daughter would be left behind just like he is leaving his wife behind. The dad making that kind of request partly because he feel guilty for leaving his family because the decisions that he made (not taking care of his healthy better).
Second, What did he do to make you think he treat her "badly"? I'm asking because i'm curious. To me, the guy might not be romantic, or super gentleman or treat her like a princess but he does not treat her "badly". Their interaction seem pretty typical for couples that stay together for a long time.
About her asking him "why are you marrying me?" - it's kind of the theme of the movie. A girl is always asking for verbal confirmation of love. But the movie is showing that some guy rather show their love through action. The guy keeping his promise to her dad is his way of showing love to her.

It's the parents' fault or the society's fault, rather than their own. Even as little boys, they are told "don't cry, men don't cry" and "what, are you a girl?" whenever they get in touch with their emotions. So that gradually they learn to stifle them. I understand that it's even more so in the Far East. Not in all Asia, for instance Indians are just as emotional as we Mediterranean people. They don't hug and touch so much, but otherwise they're quite warm.

i guess non-Asian people wouldn't get this story as the writer intend to deliver because most Asian people, married couple, they did not show love like non-Asian people do. what the hero did, it is what we Asian tend to do if being asked about love. called it being indifferent or un-romantic, but it is what most of us do in Asian. and its true though, marriage is more than love. the 'more' doesn't meant to say about materialistic thing, the 'more' actually says about patience, respect, loyalty. i mean, how many people got divorced just because they married when they fall in love?? i don't mean to point fingers but most Hollywood+other celebrity did just that. and this is not a racist comment. *just saying in case someone reads it that way*

The guy doesn't even show signs of love ' I guess cause most of people like me who are Latin we are very demonstrative with our feelings( we need to say and do things out of love to show the so called love ) , but yeah I agree with you there are many ways to show love.

so touching, this drama is happening in my life. im going to get married with my bf, we've been dating for 3 years and suddenly a charming man, a good person and also mature financially like jungi appear lol my dad died from lungs cancer and he knew abt my bf but we were only friend that time and he never met my bf because he lives in diff country. i always told my bf that i wanna die before he die i dont wanna get heartache of losing someone anymore. my bf love me the same way like seunguk, he doesnt look excited at all abt our wedding but in heart he love me so much. i really into this story and this drama make me sure about him more. :))) i really enjoy it, i will watch this often

I really thought she'll choose Jungi over Seunguk. I was very quick to judge his love because in the beginning it's like he's letting Jiwon to prepare for their wedding. It annoyed me. It's like that only Jiwon wanted that marriage. When Jungi came along and saw how he profess his love to her, I really thought he's the main character since he's the one on the cover so I thought things between them would prosper. I was waiting for the time that Jiwon will break the engagement and marry Jungi instead. And it almost happened after the kiss from Jungi. But what surprised me was when it was revealed why he's so against with the venue. I really felt the pain when I've discovered that he was there when that kiss happened that's why he can't drive Jiwon home when the later came over after an argument. Plus the dream that Jiwon had between her father and Seunguk moved me. I really watched selected scenes over and over again. This story is too good to be simple. The plot is very good - if not great. Hoping to see more movies like this. The denouement is a super twist and I like it. The ending is fantastic.
