These Drama Specials are getting better and better. The music was perfect. The acting was perfect. The plot was perfect. All around a great special that had heart and soul.

People, you're all getting it wrong. Have some imagination, she metamorphosed into a photo, and it was like a life-given experience for her grandfather to find the answers of why she is locked into a photo until he realized the tragedy he caused to that boy who lost his dad. So, at the end when he went to save the boy from the fire, it was like making amends for his mistake and hence the grand-daughter went back to her human-self as a result of the misunderstanding that has been finally cleared up.
When a person truly lost someone so badly, the pain can really go to the extend like sanglim boy. To the extend you will buried the pain and just live your life because you are still not dead. :(

This is what I think the girl was actually really a photo she said that she thinks that she turned into a photo because nobody needed her since she felt like old photos which are thrown away she turned into a photo the old man has no dementia or anything he could hear her cuz he cared about her ... and then she turned into a human when the other man thrown the photo on the ground and the frame broke ... If you remember the old man falled and the photo was shining and also I think that she turned into a human when the boy was shouting her name that's when she felt that she have to come back because there are still people who needs her .. and the photo is actually pretty creepy but beautiful in the same time the facial expression is great . Had nice time watching it 😊

Seyeong was trapped under the demolished building, when she followed Sanglim. But Sanglim didn't know that the contractor was demolishing the building, because he already ran away (he was so angry). Then haraboji came, and heard Seyeong's voice. I think it was voice from the heart. (You know when your loved ones feel something bad, and you have connection to that). And the photo, i don't really know, but i think Sanglim was about to give her. (He took some of her picture, and Seyeong said it was the best picture of all, maybe it's actually for a gift?) And when Sanglim realized that there's still someone who really cares for him (Seyeong and haraboji), then he remembered that the last place he met Seyeong was at that demolished house. And he tried to find her there. Maybe?

The movie confuse the viewers because of the photo, but seyeong never become a photo. 1.Seyeong went back to the old house, and got stuck inside the house during the house demolition. 2.He (grandfarther) knew something bad happened to his grand daughter, and Sanglim could help Seyeong,thats why he kept following the Guy (who happened become close to seyeong). 3.Dementia, they just used it so the story have a twist, so viewers would thought that the old man becoming so unwell and just creating stories about his daughter, like she was missing,etc. some speculation was that seyeong was already dead. he wants to be strong, and he wants to see his grand daughter so much thats why he keep talking to seyeong picture. because of the picture he dont stop searching. 4.Sanglim never talks because of the trauma he got when his father died.. he keep saying "your grandfather kill him" he is talking about his father who died, he has this things in mind that seyeong grand father is the reason why his father died because during that time the old man was the chairman of the housing project.
Grandpa followed the boy because she was last seen with him before she turned into a photo. Since he was the one whom took the picture, grandpa thought he would know why she became like that.
I thought she'll be lost forever in that photo after the man threw it on the ground and it cracked. But i believe everyone's theory about the girl who did got trapped in the photo because she feel like no needed her. Someone also commented that it was a life lesson for the grandpa. For only him to get his granddaughter back, he has to make ammends with the boy who lost his father.
I really miss my Grandfather... This makes me cry because i remember my Grandfather... We should love our Grandfather and ofcourse our parents... A GREAT MOVIE!!!...

She said that no one needed her and wondered whether anyone would remember her if she disappears (or something). Seyong was never the photo. Her grandfather's dementia made him refuse to believe that she had left him or had died. After all, she IS his last relative in the country. When the lady told the detective that Seyong had died, take note that the previous students from her school had said that rumors has been going around ever since her disappearance, so her death was probably a rumor, too. And when Sanglim found her, my only explanation is that she had came back because she was worried that her grandfather was still in the house before it was destroyed, and with everyone being aware of the deadline (she's the chairman's granddaughter, after all), it's not surprising that she came back on that very day to save him. I don't know how she had survived under all that rubble, though.

My opinion... I think when sanglim is being told that seoyeong 's haraboji is the redevelopment chairman, he became angry that he was being selfish and made his father dead during the construction. He didn't talk to seoyeong at the last encounter because he was upset as she was the only person with whom he usually hangs out and now she is being the granddaughter of that chairman. This makes seoyeong feel bad and she turned into a photograph to make his haraboji realize that he should be sorry to sanglim as he was the indirect reason for his father's death. As soon he realises that he made a mistake,asks him to forgive and attempts to save him, seoyeong's guilt vanished and she returned being a human. By experiencing the love of haraboji towards him(when he saved his life by risking his own life) he came back to his conscious state and started to love haraboji. And at last they all were together. And yes it was not haraboji's dementia that he could listen to his grandfather's voice but his love and affection towards her which noone else can feel.This was also proved when that old man asks his name then he confidently tells his correct name. One thing from which i was moved that when seoyeong said to sanglim that i collects that photographs (which are left behind by ppl who think they are now of no use ) to keep them as a memory so that they can be remembered. And then he clicks his picture to assure her that he would remember her always, she would never be considered as a left thing. But when he listens the truth nd stopped talking to her,then she thinks that she was useless and burden on everyone including her mother, haraboji and now sanglim too. She feels bad,upset and guilt of being uncared by anyone and what happens to sanglims father due to his haraboji. By these 2 reasons she became a photo and returns back when she realised that she was not a useless object she was being cared by sanglim and haraboji as well as haraboji also realised his mistake. And everything is fair and good now. Very touching drama. Loved it👍🏻
