To an American customer -who will accually be haulin' with it! -SWEEEET! -Hopefully this customer will share this Trucks future on the US-roads. (I would personally FOR SURE follow that.) Make that Truck Ylivoimala/SCANIA super great!
It must be a hazzle..to get US Papers for it...if you get them??🤔🇺🇸🇪🇺....there,all around i see germans that import US Trucks..and rebuilt them for Europe..and their Customers here. I import US Cars..since 1990...
Theese 530 engines sound AWESOME straight piped. Even better (basier) with stacks! Hope the customer gets that. With the manual transmission -it has that wounderful deep 'breath' between gears (shifts). Regardless: That roaring V8 SCANIA sound in this truck will certainly turn some heads in the States.
While perhaps a poor fit for otr duty in the states, I would love to see them head out west with it. I have never laid eyes on one of these trucks except in simulator games.
I hope you make an episode with Finnish/European style inspection when you get this built. Now we have seen the american DOT inspection on BW channel so it would be nice to see how to do a proper inspection of vehicle.
Yes I will follow you and your team. I like the No nonsens type of Guy you are. And,......show those Americans how real trucks works and run. Yep I'm In. Happy holydays to all
Awesome vid ylivoimala!👍 Am really looking forward to the next episode. Just a heads up ylivoimala! As more & more Americans are getting in to the Scania thing, one truck that would get a lot of interest in America I think, is the Scania Torpedo Longline, customised, with a little sink to brush your teeth in the morning, a little kitchen, wide screen projector, etc, etc, etc. Good luck ylivoimala, plus a Happy Christmas & a prosper New Ywar, to all of you guys. Keep'em vids rollin' cos' I love watchin'em!!!
Beautiful work ;) greetings from an old Scania mechanic from Denmark, looking forward to seeing more :) Ps. I'm from the time when there were Scania 141-142-143 lovely machines.
..............yeah.......that made me almost cry when that old girl was torn apart.....felt so, so, sorry for her especially when the upper roof was taken off so crudely!!!!!!.....there really was no need for that to happen to that truck!!!!!!!......

Pretty sure someone already pointed out that the voiceover overlaps with music, which makes hearing Ville pretty hard. ( 15:39 to 15:54 ) Adding subtitle works too. Hyvä markkina auennut Brucen kautta, hyvä konsepti ja toteutus näissä projekti videoissa!
Consider teaming up with the Abreus in New Jersey. They have worked on Scanias in US for over 30 years. Max Hunt paid them a visit when he toured US in his 770 last year. He YT'ed the entire trip....
2:00 - The Norwegian chrome, I guess.😮😃 Wasn't this EDC technology at first in the previous 500hp version of the 143? Up to 470hp didn't have it? This is what I've been told. This is pure quality content, no bs with 95% talking and 5% showing what happens like many, especially american videos. Looking forvard to the next video! - ja Hyvää Uutta Vuotta Varsinais-Suomesta!
It's basically going to be a brand new 4 series arriving to the customer in America. He's one lucky guy. Hopefully he appreciates the amount of work you guys put into it. Are you going to put a tune on the engine before shipment to the USA?
Mahtavaa nähdä teiltä kontentia ja englannin kiellellä laajenee asiakaskunta että katsojat! Awesome, looking forward to see part of the work on this! Seems the RUclips work might have given some business 👍 Marry Chrismas and Happy New year Ville and everyone at Ylivoumala!
I'm excited to see this rebuild. I hope we at least get to find out who this truck is going to. BW won't be the only one with Scania in the US anymore????
This would really be a nice business: buying old enough Scanias and rebuild them to then sell and ship them to the USA! They'd still be streets ahead of any modern US made truck
I am from South of Italy leaving in the US get ready. You will be busy. A lot of people wants a truck like that in the US and politicians are on the way that’s the reason we have no trucks like that in the US but I promise you you will be busy.😂
@YlivoimalaDiesel I know of you because of Bruce, but I'm really looking forward to see what this truck looks l8ke once you have finished with it. Now don't get me wrong, Bruce is good at refurbing and customising trucks... But no one refurbs and customises a truck like the Europeans l. 😉🫡😀
The Yanks have got lot of catching up to do when it comes to Scanias as we've had them here in Australia for YEARS! Although it's a pity that Scania doesn't build the Gumboots (long nosed Scanias) anymore as the Yanks would've loved them. Love your sense of humour Ville...especially when it comes to that crusty rust! 😁 Merry Christmas to you as well.

I hope Bruce bought this one. To sell. Is that why you're a dealer?

I belive 'Lockwood International Superdials' in the UK -offer matching km/h to mph + bar to psi -conversion dials for this Truck.
While perhaps a poor fit for otr duty in the states, I would love to see them head out west with it. I have never laid eyes on one of these trucks except in simulator games.
Eyy, a christmas present from the guys of Ylivoimala in the form of a video. Cant wait to follow this project.
Thank you!
I’m so excited for this. Thank you guys for putting this build on RUclips.
Scanny is in the right place for an overhaul - looking forward to seeing this build
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Thank you, Merry Christmas !
You got me subbed, Ville. Looking forward for more of this Scania build
Kiitos for this video and happy new year from Denmark

I'm not suprised that someone from minnesota bought it.. its the most nordic heritage based as well as michigan. Congratz for the new owner!
I really miss doing engine rebuilds and i love watching that kind of content. Youre doing a great work
Wow! this will be fun to follow :)
Thx so much to share your pro work with us, nice to see how pro people works
Great work, I look forward to the rebuild.
Merry Christmas and a happy new year from Australia.

The man the legend himself!
Don’t forget to convert it to 12v for the trailer,or you are going to have a very late night call, like Bruce did…
great video!
You can buy a kit fore that from 24 to 12 but 24 is way better than 12
VolvoUSA will change that because their new trucks are 24v eventually everbody will switch
@@Xv1p3rCr0 that´s gonna be a mess, when you will have many years or even decades where 12 V and 24 V trailers are in use side by side
Just fit trailers with 12-24V led lights?
@@petereriksson4405 the lights is not really the problem, the problem is that the US trailers abs-system runs on 12v

Looking forward to showing our American brothers what a Scania can do.
They are simply second to none.
Actually, they're second to Volvo... And every decent Scania driver knows that fact. 😉🫡
@deanoc8551 well I've driven both for over 40yrs and yes the Volvo is a superb truck but Scania for me there is no comparison.
This will be a great series and one happy American customer 👍 Onnellista uutta vuotta!
Wow,this thing needs lots of work.
At least you will show what was possibility for Bruce's red scania.

You have learned men and high-quality tools in Finland.🎉
This has been Norwegian registered. It has driven offshore equipment up and down between the oil bases in Norway.
