- Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot sent a letter to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on Sunday, urging his administration to stop what she called the inhumane and dangerous action of bussing migrants to Chicago.

So Mayor Lightfoot is the outgoing Mayor of Chicago, and I hope she sent a copy of that letter to the President of the United States and to members of Congress, because therein lies the solution to this issue, as they’re responsible for immigration, not the city of Chicago or the state of Texas.

I have a neighbor, he went through the process of getting his legal citizenship, learned English, works his ass off and has 12 hardworking and respectful children and not one behavioral issue in the whole bunch. You can start with legal immigration. That usually is a good way to ensure equity in the marketplace and secondly, cities like chicago, Philly, New York, Boston….this is a symptom of their policies. They want to single out a republican state among a realm of Democratic miscarriages of rights to actual citizens. This is an invasion, but not in the traditional sense because it’s the American government working the door.
