Exposing my body transformation (shocking before & after)

  • So, why did I make this video?
    I know it's easy to compare yourself to others' before & after pictures. These photos set expectations about how YOUR body could possibly look and even have the power to influence your diet & exercise routines. I wanted to show you how easy it is to be tricked by them.
    With carefully chosen angles and clothing placement, you can literally take a convincing before & after photos within minutes of each other. So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be careful with who you trust, especially online! And remember, the best person to compare yourself to is who you were yesterday ❤️

      @GCT1990 2 года назад +2

      Unfortunately you are setting yourself up for failure. You aren't comparing yourself to other people you are comparing yourself to other people's skills, today is a very different world... We use to compare ourselves to other people in real life which will always take a hit to a person's self esteem level but at least you knew that person you were looking at wasn't altered... Like that's them, you can see their flaws. Now... Especially online, you are looking at another person's art work. These people in photos have zero flaws because they're maker designed them that way. Instagram is probably the biggest killer of self esteem right now. Everyone is using a program, filter, editor to make themselves look better then they possibly can and that's so sad.
      For one the person who's altering their photos is suffering from serious self esteem issues
      And secondly, then there's people like you who get stuck in the cross fire. Subconsciously you know there's a photo trick involved but you almost never process that thought unless you work as someone who alters photos, you then start to feel like you don't measure up, you feel a low sense of worth or that you aren't good enough because Christina over there has the sharpest jawline you've ever seen or Carol over there has bigger breast, Sarah has big full lips... There's so many body parts we feel must be perfect in order to feel like we're better then who we are and without those parts... We just arnt good enough which couldn't be further from the truth. Each and everyone of us are far better then those photos because we are real, as flawed as we can get which means we improve ourselves, you are far better then any damn beauty standard documents, don't you ever forget that. Man this got me a little Emtional... Seeing some suffering from personal image compared to a impossible image just breaks me because I use to be there. It's inhumane and cruel to say the least. You are just better then any photo can reflect. These are altered photos and nothing more. You however are a human being doing the best you can and that alone makes you better.
