Thank you! All depends on if I sell the postal Jeep 🤞…ideally I would want a rubicon and a 2015-2018 model. Hopefully then I’d bypass a lot of the JKU issues.

First of all congratulations on the addition to your family.
Secondly I appreciate that you made a video of the pitfalls of owning vehicles like these. Not necessarily Jeeps in particular. It seems everyone always posts the good and never that actual hard stuff. I'm currently working on fixing some minor cooling issues and it's been slow going so far.
Side question...what mats are you using under your jeeps? I've been looking for some that are thick and soak up oil and minor leaks.

      Thanks man!
Yeah the pitfalls can out way the positives at times. Especially because I have 3 to upkeep 🙃. I really do need to downsize to 2 Jeeps….Cooling issues can be a pain. I fought overheating in the LJ when I first bought it. Replaced the entire cooling system and still didn’t fix it. Last ditch effort I took the new CSF radiator off and put in a Mopar and now it never reaches above 210. I spent a lot of money trying to diagnose it though.
A couple of the mats are just rugs that I had laying around. I have 2 actual drip mats that I bought at Lowe’s. They were around 70 each I believe. They have been great except they don’t like the grinder/welder. They develop burn holes in them.

Congratulations . A Jeep leak is defined as follows:
If you’re under your Jeep and it drips on you it’s a leak , otherwise it’s normal seepage . I’ve fought leaks on my CJ 7 since 1989 . Fix a leak and it’s good for a while but it will eventually leak again. It’s just marking it’s spot. I desperately need one piece rear axles in my CJ . I just dread doing differential work. Are you going to the Southern CJ on the 25th? We will be there with ours and the overland trailer

Thank you! I fight leaks in the CJ all the time. The SM465 used to be a slow leak but it’s getting pretty bad now. Luckily the seal kits on the 465 are pretty cheap to buy.
I wish I was going on the 25th but I already have plans that weekend. I am going to the WNC Jeep Fest in Maggie Valley, NC. It’s the 8th of June I believe. I’ll try to come down with the CJ if Dawn and Jody have the show in September too.
