I think your "Nightmare" videos are great but I quickly lose interest while watching other people's gameplay (it's not you it's me said your last girlfriend) no matter who is playing. Just curious, how many days do you typically allow a community to run in standard mode and what accomplishments do you go for to consider it to be late game? Great video!
I would say "late game" is in effect when the game starts generating juggernauts, hostile communities, and frequent ferals (by Standard Zone... standards). I don't know what specific day has to pass by before one would consider it officially late game. It's more about the probability of the typical survival taking sudden and continuous damage. In Nightmare Zone, it's day 1.
I have interest in it, but I would need to find the time to do it. I don't like making these kinds of videos unless I have... say 80% assurance MINIMUM that what I am saying is as good as it's going to get, and since I haven't even beaten all the LZ legacies, I can't even claim to have say... 50% understanding of the difficulty level.

The biochem station is essential for dealing with hostile humans quickly in Nightmare Zone because they can kill you very quickly. Same as when I fight juggernauts. I might be shooting a jug with my 50 cal riffle in the chest or head and my AI partner is usually popping magnum rounds in his face from close range.
Those are different resources. It isn't efficient at all if you don't have them. Selling items is about using as many types of resources as possible. Beer uses food.
Most people (me included) will not want to waste a slot on a dedicated medicine farm + dedicated herbalist + still in their base. If you're using the Brewery, you can skip that step that step altogether and make beer. Food is also a lot more abundant than meds, and it also takes away from using meds on bulk plague cures and Zedhunter items which would outrun the production from a medicine farm to begin with. I think that selling strong pain killers is a good idea, but it's definitely not a replacement for selling beer as it's way too much of a drain on medicine and ethanol to be sustainable as opposed to using both resources in a balanced manner.
ah i see. makes sense. I prefered the strong PK variant u get more influence for less ress in my opinion. But u right u need to focus on 2 resources and need a herbalist. Both methods have pros and cons. "your" method is way easier for beginners
Your method is what I'd call a build. It's a good idea, but it's a specific kind of setup that wants you to plant your roots into a base and prioritize base elements and 5th skills towards it.
Your videos are very good and helpfull. Are you also going to make a video about mechanics and Utilities, or do you have one already? I really would like to here your opinion.😊😊😊
When Nightmare Zone was released, people wanted me to make gameplay videos which changed a lot of my focus. I do want to make more guides, but it has always been hard to juggle it with my day job and the channel gameplay videos.
You need a strategy guide "playlist." ALL of your strategic comparisons should be lumped together for easy access. I enjoy watching your base reviews, and your skill reviews but have a hard time locating them in within all the other content you have. Right now I'm flipping through your "Uploads" trying to spot each strategy guide upload in between all your seasonal episodes and other content.
Is that playlist hard to find? If 1 person is having trouble finding it, I tend to assume there are actually hundreds of people that just don't comment also having trouble finding it. I can move it up higher in the list if it's hard to notice.
I never got around to finishing it unfortunately. That's when Nightmare Zone came out and people really wanted me to make gameplay videos. Most of the info is still good even in Lethal Zone. Pharmacology is REALLY good though, far better than I imagined it in the past due to the "strong pain killers flip" you need pharmacology for. It is a money making powerhouse.
@@RET-2-GO It won't be possible for me to obtain them all the same day. I have no idea when I'll review them, if I will, since many of them are very rare because they only come from rare weapon containers, and then you have to hopefully get the right ones over the other possible rare weapons... and there's 13 of them.
@@GitGudFox thanks for the response. I love your videos man. Your advice is my gold standard for the game. I feel like most people that play don't really understand the core mechanics and issues of the game like you do.

@@GitGudFox Don't worry that's totally understandable, but since I liked your deceptions the most of all out there, I could resist to ask. 😁😁😁
They should all be in the "Strategies" playlist.
This is the first indexed episode which should include the playlist. ruclips.net/video/ZwELADU49qY/видео.html
You can also use the next/prev video on each guide.
@@GitGudFox i just saw this. thanks! I'm watching them right now!
Is that playlist hard to find? If 1 person is having trouble finding it, I tend to assume there are actually hundreds of people that just don't comment also having trouble finding it. I can move it up higher in the list if it's hard to notice.
Chemistry is mostly for speed runs because you get so much ammo from it which makes killing PH early more possible
Thank you for this series
I never got around to finishing it unfortunately. That's when Nightmare Zone came out and people really wanted me to make gameplay videos.
Most of the info is still good even in Lethal Zone. Pharmacology is REALLY good though, far better than I imagined it in the past due to the "strong pain killers flip" you need pharmacology for. It is a money making powerhouse.
Is it worth it to but the Independence Day bundle?
I would say it is probably the most powerful DLC in terms of items that you get. The Pyrolauncher is one of the best weapons in the game.
Git Gud Fox It's my least favorite pack because I can't stand to use silly weapons.
Great videos fox!
More profitable? C4 or Landmines?
Did they announce when the WW2 weapons will be added to State of Decay 2?
I haven't heard anything since the initial stream.
@@GitGudFox Will you be doing a weapons review video when they release?
@@RET-2-GO It won't be possible for me to obtain them all the same day. I have no idea when I'll review them, if I will, since many of them are very rare because they only come from rare weapon containers, and then you have to hopefully get the right ones over the other possible rare weapons... and there's 13 of them.
One minor thing you missed was that you need the chemistry skill in order to upgrade an ammo outpost to level 3.
Upgrading outposts and outpost levels did not exist in the time of this video.
@@GitGudFox thanks for the response. I love your videos man. Your advice is my gold standard for the game. I feel like most people that play don't really understand the core mechanics and issues of the game like you do.
What are the best Red Talon 5th skills would you say? I personally like Infrastructure, Demolitions, Hacking and Mobile Operations.
I've only used 1 RT character because I dread playing Daybreak.
Jack My favourite is firearms enthusiast because if you get the specific hero bonus you get 2 ammo per day
Good to know cheers fox
I just put chemistry on someone how do I get it to be pharmacology?
You need to level it up some more.
Pharmacology is a specialization of chemistry, I think.
I wish they would remove the Prestige cost of all the daybreak stuff it doesnt make sense
It's a pain.
You referenced a video in the middle of your video with no link in the description or comment. What was the name of it?
Do more please
I am still working on more. They have been getting harder and harder to make lately, so I have been a bit stumped by them.
Good points!👍
I wish I could get chemistry on my characters more often in Nightmare Zone.
How do you have 6 outpost slots?
You need a network signal booster. I talk about it in my top 6 mods video: ruclips.net/video/cL5r_xNyApI/видео.html&t=
Can you make a video based on the dlc
Heartland I assume or just all the DLCs in general?
Git Gud Fox Heartland, never played it
I can be a pyromaniac after this. If only I have the game lol
Independence weapons are fun but a bit impractical.
Mechanic skill?
I haven't done that one.
Great Video ,i have one question how do you get 9 food from a hydroculture
You can get 9 food from 3 facilities.
- Hydroponics (with compost bin + knowledge of agriculture)
- Level 3 Garden (with compost bin + knowledge of agriculture)
- Level 2 Farm (with compost bin + knowledge of agriculture)
You can get 12 food from a level 3 farm (with compost bin + knowlege of agriculture) but only if your community's leader is a trader.
@@GitGudFox Ou nice thank you ,so nice to see that you answer your fans
@@justflo5146 I answer most comments within a day or so. Sometimes RUclips doesn't tell me about new comments though.
Bulk plague cure? No. I have more than 30 guns, but I'll take it into mind.
I feel like undeadlabs should take notes off of you
They seem to only pay attention to streamers.
Can a friend with the dlc give me red talon mods?
No, the game won't let non-DLC owners pick up the items.
love this shiiii
👏🙂
