I got a pandemic cat! I adopted him from a shelter when he was 4 years old. He's the sweetest, most cuddly cat I have ever met! I love him so much, and feel so blessed that despite popular demand on pets during the pandemic I was able to take him home. 😊💕
We got two little dogs (cliph and tori) from a woman who needed to rehome them (she was an amazing owner and loved them so much, it was nothing on her end) and we love them!!
He’s so cute!! I honestly hope you fully adopt him. I have a large dog in an apartment complex and she does fine! As long as you’re committed to taking the dog out daily and exercising at the dog park and hikes you’re totally qualified!! Plus he’s getting so attached and it’s hard for dogs to be separated when they’ve formed such a good connection!
That’s what I’m saying, people pay big money for Huskies and this one is young, beautiful and for adoption. Like, how? It doesn’t get any better than that
@@nikiniki3327 well probably Bc the idea of shelters is to get animals off the streets. You can’t have a bunch of animals (who most likely aren’t fixed) on the streets they’ll start breeding, dying on the side of roads, getting hit by cars, etc...

They should do a law that normal people aren’t allowed to breed puppies and sell them so people need to buy expensive dog from shop or a free or cheap dog from shelter. And all dogs needs to be castrated. I’m not a friend of castrating dogs but it’s better than full of kill shelters
I'm saying that bc in many countries they live on streets without an issue and they don't hurt other people like in India they live on streets without any issue so they are free without any restrictions and many people adopt them from streets like their newborns and people gives food to them and if they die that's okay cuz they lived more or less then they lived in shelter but that's okay cuz they are living their life

Fostering saves lives and if she wants to Adopt him that's good for her and awesome but whether he gets adopted by her or someone he will still be happy because he has a home😀 . I have literally seen someone comment that Ghost will be unhappy without her which isn't true! Fostering saves lives and people commenting "YOU NEED TO ADOPT HIM! HE WILL BE UNHAPPY " is very discouraging to people who foster. Let's just appreciate the fact that she saved a life and she could possibly save more :)

EVERYONE SHOULD SUPPORT KILL SHELTERS! This is coming from a vegetarian animal lover. Since people don’t understand the difference between kill and no kill shelters I feel I should explain better. The main difference between the two is that a no kill shelter is allowed to turn down animals. This means that no kill shelters can say no to an animal if their shelter is full. Kill shelters however are legally required to take in every animal that they are asked too. This means that if people don’t adopt from them/foster from them their space will fill up. They’ll have to put down older dogs to make room for new ones. This is absolutely heart breaking but we need to support these shelters otherwise the problem just gets worse. The kill shelter doesn’t want to put any animal down they just don’t always have the resources to take care of all of them. If you can foster or adopt please do but also just donating helps a lot.
i adopted a dog from a shelter two years ago and she also had issues with peeing and pooping in different places in the house so we bought those disposable baby changing mats and we just leave them in the places where we know she might do something. hope that helps someone
I also fostered a white husky like ghost for 5 months, fell completely In love with him,so I ended up adopting him. He’s laying on me as I type this lol.

There are a quite of bit of no kill shelters though!! They all need to be no kill shelters. It’s so sad. That’s why it is so importantly adopt dogs from shelters

Hi, i just wanted to say that my parents got another puppy befire xmas and we've been taking is training pretty seriously so, seeing what you were trying to get him to do here is some advice 😊. For the toilette issue: pay attention, when he needs to go he'll possibly head towards the door or the balcony, that is your sign to take him out. When you find a pee in the morning or just because you didn't see you mustn't clean it up in front of him because it give him attention, and for him to understand he needs to go outside you need to congratulated him at the exact moment he goes and then give him a treat. For the basic tricks like sit you must never press him down but instead show the treat in your hand and out next to his nose/mouth and then move your hand so that he is looking up at the ceiling, and he'll automatically sit. You need to say the word "sit" as soon as he's in position and of course give him the treat and congratulate him. It those take time and it might be longer for him as he's slightly older but you can do it😊 I hope this helps ly xxx

We also adopted a dog when I was 15 on his last day, he was perfectly fine & WELL TRAINED, so we took him since it was unnecessary for them to put him down he's so friendly & playful. I dont understand why animal shelters put down dogs for being there too long, it's upsetting. It's not been 9 years since then & he's still the best dog we've had☺ Also he's a german shepherd mix!
Wow, for being on a kill list he’s amazingly behaved!! I had to train my rescue dog to be comfortable with everything u guys did in this video. Glad you guys saved him❤️

For future reference whenever a dog pee's or poops in the house in a specific spot that's cause he recognizes his scent. So to get him not to do that again try cleaning that spot with vinegar or bleach to wipe his scent away ^^
Unfortunately as a former shelter volunteer, it seems like everyone who owns a husky, pit or German Shepherd thinks they need to breed it. People need to realize that they have no business breeding their dogs. Especially if they aren’t health tested and registered.
Just a heads up when youre rescuing a dog it takes a long time for them to adjust so taking them to places like a dog park are not the best idea! Theres. 3 day 3 week 3 moth diagram you can find online 😊

Actually my dog was abandoned in our street in a box when he was a little puppy so we’re very happy that we got to adopt him
