I think the 'Moira' is not the true ending. It seems that 'Star-crossed' is the true ending. Although 'Moira' is connected to the starting point of 'Pocket Mirror', the ending that connects to the true ending of 'Pocket Mirror', 'Little Goody Two Shoes', is 'Star-crossed'. The ending of 'Pocket Mirror', 'Little Goody Two Shoes', is a story when Elise didn't make a deal, and when she continued to live in the original house left by her grandmother, and such ending can only be 'Star-crossed'. In the work, 'Little Goody Two Shoes' is a picture diary, so the story written in the diary, 'What if I made a deal', becomes 'Pocket Mirror', and ultimately, the story of 'Pocket Mirror' becomes a story about the 'what if' written in the diary (whether before or after 'Star-crossed').
@@bocchi-therock I mean, it's obvious, and Little Goody Two Shoes was first presented as a prequel, the first half of the story ends and the rest continues with the moira ending. She gets to leave town, she gets to make money selling fancy dresses, even if she's never opulently rich, she'll make enough money with that to live comfortably at least. I feel like she seems truly happiest with Freya, but maybe that's just me lol. They do state that Rozenmarine is her true soulmate, but since they both have such cursed beginnings, I feel like they were also trapped to be together. Lebkuchen and Elise certainly girlboss it up in their ending being elder and mayor, but I can't help but wonder if Lebkuchen is mostly a love interest just bc she saved her kid's life in Pocket Mirror. In the 'kiss of judas' ending what happened to the soul of elise, does she goes to heaven with lebkuchen or damned to hell? Initially I thought she would go to heaven with lebkuchen but after some thinking I'm beginning to have doubt
I suspect that that ending may be a reference to the ending of The Red Shoes, the fairy tale the game is based on. At the end of that story the miserable cursed protagonist ends up praying to god for salvation, and an angel comes to take her to heaven. Since it seems like a strong parallel, I believe that Lebkuchen was the angel there to free Elise from her torment and bring her to heaven.
Maybe she just leaves, because Elise is no longer living there or visiting her anymore because she's too focused with her new life Though I wonder what was so wrong about Elise letting Rozenmarine live with her, isn't that her house? Same thing with Rozenmarine's goat the snitch also made a big deal about as if she wasn't allowed any pets or something

Its pretty unfortunate how they completely failed to make elises actions throughout the story seem believable The entire point of this game was to explain the other game came to be and they veered off course Elise was doubtfoul about all of it and till the very end only half heartedly played along as she was forced to but then she just lets this demon eat her girlfriend? yeah no what
My explanation for this is that Elise is a mixture of a psychopath and being VERY stupid, you'd need to be a psychopath to bring your girlfriend to meet literally Satan, and have the intellect of a cucumber to not realise that the point of it all is sacrificing her.

Pocket Mirror was a good RPG maker horror game. This was just boring lesbian propaganda. None of the endings really connect with the other game either.
Ending 1 is canon ending, which directly leads to the first game (sequel): mentions both pocket mirror and Goldia. Ending 6 has easter eggs in forms of dresses in the background (dresses of Harpae and Lisette from Pocket Mirror) Rest of the endings are mostly tied to prequel story itself, none of those are canon and are there just because of choices you make during playthrough. In Pocket Mirror, perfect ending shows the alternate reality where Elise never deals with Ozzy. There is also an area with records during the playthrough that mentions Elise and her regret. The art for 5 gives me Howl's Moving Castle vibes
So..
True ending
Happy ending
Bad ending
Yeah no, i'm choosing happy over canon 😅
The real ending imo is Moira which is 1st ending because it shows that how pocket mirror would take place
WHY OZZY'S LAUGH IS MAKING ME LAUGH TOO 💀 AND ME CHOKING 9:10
Thank you for this!
If it's okay with you could you do a vid of all the date scenes? Only if you want to :)
Sure, actually this was what i was gonna do next
@@LongplaysHD Awesome! Subscribed :D
@@LongplaysHD Very excited to see it!
The lebkuchen good end is my canon 😭😭
Yeah no, Moira is the true ending, I know the true hurts
@@kellyscorner1319 you're right. The author already confirmed in tumblr.
@@bocchi-therock I mean, it's obvious, and Little Goody Two Shoes was first presented as a prequel, the first half of the story ends and the rest continues with the moira ending. In fact, I would say the other endings appeared and the dating sim feature appeared as the development grew so the game could work as a stand alone.
where is Rozenmarine during the endings of the other girls?
...well.....we can say Rozenmarine in the others girls endings get living in the Elise house in Kiferberg going to visit elise in all Friday's :D
* Looks upon the good ending *
Man, lesbians are great...
Ending 4 reminds me of Witch's House in a way... body snatchers...
And Ending 10
1:00:36 THAT’S SO MESSED UP OMG..
i wish star-crossed was canon frfr who agrees w me? 38:09
Yo, I got the 999th like. :^)
I finished this game a few timmmesss, but it's nice to have this compilation for archival purposes. Thank you for your dues! I love this game so much! Who's your favorite wife?
Ending 10 Elise (Wallise) is so cute. I think Walpurga and Hans are pretty underrated as characters. Hmph hmph.
is there not an ending like 8 or 9 for freya? that seems kinda weird, what happens if you pick her?
Ending 9 can happen with either Freya or Lebkuchen, it's just that the video only showed the version with lebkuchen
there is, it's just freya that shouts to her dad instead of lebkuchen but it ends the same way
Freya and Lebkuchen share ending 9. It plays out the same way, except Freya is the one crying out for Elise. Ending 8 is exclusively for Rozenmarine.
I didn’t knew it was a yuri.
I don't think so.
@@gimo6881 it is ❤
So the Old Hag is her mother
The old hag is also st walpurga who is her mother yes
i didnt know about the mechanics to get more hearts and i got stuck with only the kiss and apotasy, i was thinking about giving up since it would be so much work to replay the whole thing for the others but after watching this video, i really just cant accept just seeing the final seconds of the end, i want to see everything, sigh
Is this game hinting a sacrifices of people that some people in modern day do to strike similar details!? Some story I heard that someone made a deal for a better life and someone in their immediate family that they liked died later that week...that entity said, "Who you want to offer next"...
My man, this is fantasy, not reality
@@kellyscorner1319 They have sacrificial knives for ritualistic purposes and for animals...
@@kellyscorner1319 and yeah. There is a director of human sacrifices and people (At Bgrove)...maybe you can be the next volunteer if you do not believe at all that this happens...also in Europe. In big ass mansions and fancy homes with basements to worship entities or use ritualistic ensembles etc.
It happens and it's not just a game...
@@dannylo5875 Maybe in the past, but this is the real life and that bullsheet doesn't even happen. Touch some grass
Can you do that again. There is an updated version today.
Ending 5 the Best❤
I like 6 better ;P
7 >>>> we get a wedding and everything 🥹
@@CaitlinxDavis All three options are valid and have their own little extra fun bits I guess. But I personally liked Freya best bc Elise gets everything she wanted with her. But Freya, to me, seems to represent Elise finally and actually being accepted as a fellow human by the others, gaining a true family, and having most of her dreams still come true so she sacrifices nothing/very little.
@@kymo6343 On the flipside, Treacherous Rose Ending is the most gut punch because you are not just betray Freya but you also betray Gustave's kindness too.
@@ZetsubouGintama Hard agree! Hearing her call out for her papa is just horrible!
the game has a touhou aura. heroine makes him think of marisa.
Wait, what if you try to interfere and save the girls when you sacrifiest them to Ozzy? What happends then?
Immediate game over
Elise got killed by Ozzy instead, resulting game over, but the other girl is alive(?)
@@Ratchet4483 Nope, when Elise has that nightmare about Ozzy's Golden Girls, the trio mentioned(Alphenrose, Sanni and Valerie) were all killed(Sanni for refusing Ozzy, Valerie for being a bystander and Alphenrose at the end of her deal, which Elise will be subjected to in the first 3 endings)
Thank You!!!!!
There's clothes of Harpae, Fleta and Lisette in the background of Freya good ending :0
yay nice endings yaay!!!
Wait so what exactly happen to rozenmarine after those diffrent ending?
Maybe she just leaves, because Elise is no longer living there or visiting her anymore because she's too focused with her new life
Though I wonder what was so wrong about Elise letting Rozenmarine live with her, isn't that her house? Same thing with Rozenmarine's goat the snitch also made a big deal about as if she wasn't allowed any pets or something
OZZY RULZ 🔥
I can't the 5th ending is gonna make me cry, gosh two lovely people who are lesbians or bi or pan but beside that my children have grown up 🤗😢😢😢😢🥺🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭🥺
My shipping heart is melting
Bi and pan is the same but pan is with extra steps and in Spanish means you would marry bread
@@kellyscorner1319 It's not for everyone the same
@@unknowns78 It's bi but with extra steps, it's the same thing
They're lesbians, not bi. None of them are attracted to men!
Its pretty unfortunate how they completely failed to make elises actions throughout the story seem believable
The entire point of this game was to explain the other game came to be and they veered off course
Elise was doubtfoul about all of it and till the very end only half heartedly played along as she was forced to but then she just lets this demon eat her girlfriend? yeah no what
My explanation for this is that Elise is a mixture of a psychopath and being VERY stupid, you'd need to be a psychopath to bring your girlfriend to meet literally Satan, and have the intellect of a cucumber to not realise that the point of it all is sacrificing her.
Matpat needs to get on this and do some theories (ISTG IM SO INVESTED IN THE GAME)
Yeah, no. Let's not let Matpat ruin this story.
in endings 1-3 , does anything change if you tell him to stop?
You get a game over
@@LongplaysHD that's Lame. would have been better to let the player beg and think there was a way to stop it only to kill the love interest anyway. There's some un-tapped horror in the futility of ends 1-3.
@@ritzexists2201exactly, Goldia did it without dialogue option in the witching hour ending and the horror was really played well, being all helpless and begging and all just for it to result in nothing to the irreversible event.
@@ritzexists2201 to elaborate a bit on the gameover, elise if she interferes becomes a golden maiden where from what i know, she is forced to live in his domain for the rest of eternity. basically what happens to the girls if you dont interfere. this was foreshadowed by the other golden maidens that appear throughout the game that mention not having the reolve of seeing it through.
while i think the horror element would be cool there, it doesn't work from a writing standpoint. elise COULD have saved them and had multiple options to, but because of her own selfishness she didn't. this makes the endings where she sacrifices them much more heartbreaking, because elise had full potential to help them (even BEFORE this scene, she could have chosen to not risk her lover's fate and be happy) but she didn't. its such good writing and i love how they did this.
Ozzy kills Elise for backing out of the agreement.
Wait does this game have any happy endings?
3 from the 10
5-7 and yeah that's it.
Personally I think Rozenmarine is best girl ☹️🙏🏻

Ozzy is the demon of lust, learnt it from Helluva Boss (his better version for me btw)
……
Doomed yuri at its finest
Pocket Mirror was a good RPG maker horror game. This was just boring lesbian propaganda. None of the endings really connect with the other game either.
what makes this lesbian propaganda?
@@hhwstanBecause homosexuals bad, obviously!
(the only people who say it's "propaganda" are homophobes)
How it’s not connected to the other game if it has literally the explanation of WHY the previous game happened in the first place?
Ending 1 is canon ending, which directly leads to the first game (sequel): mentions both pocket mirror and Goldia.
Ending 6 has easter eggs in forms of dresses in the background (dresses of Harpae and Lisette from Pocket Mirror)
Rest of the endings are mostly tied to prequel story itself, none of those are canon and are there just because of choices you make during playthrough.
In Pocket Mirror, perfect ending shows the alternate reality where Elise never deals with Ozzy. There is also an area with records during the playthrough that mentions Elise and her regret.
If you were actually paying attention to anything except light romance part of the game, you might've had a different attitude. Lesbian propaganda is only what you want to see and accuse the game of.
@@straybeest It talks about the deal of Ozzy getting her secondborn child Goldia, and how is it not connected.
