I and seven other volunteers taught English in Turkish public schools. I am absolutely flabbergasted at how Eskisehir has changed. What a marvelous place this has turned out to be. You should have seen Eskişehir when I was growing up 50 years ago. It was the most ugliest, dirtiest and most air polluted city in Turkey. I can attest that it takes only one guy to change everything. Professor Dr. Yılmaz Büyükerşen is that guy. Hard working mayor of the city is the Superman of Eskişehir. 22 years of continuing service is appreciated by all. I wish him another 83 years of happy and healthy life. Thanks Mayor.

As a 19 year old Eskişehir citizen who has spent almost his entire life in here, I thorouglhy loved this video. I believe your explanations and points are quite accurate. Also if you haven’t left the city yet, I would urge you to eat ‘Balaban Kebap’ which is an unique sort of kebab special to Eskişehir. There is a historic place behind the manopoly building called ‘Abdüsselam Balaban Kebap’.
Eskisehir is a quite modern and civilised city. It wasn’t this unique before the mayor Mr. Buyuksersen. His contributions to Eskisehir is admirable. Now it’s rated one of the most student friendly and safest cities among Turkey. I reckon it’s the most livable in Turkey as well.
As a person who grew up in Eskişehir, I'm crying at the moment, literally. I live in Lausanne, Switzerland and you cannot imagine how I miss my lovely hometown. It's one of the best videos I've ever watched about Eskişehir. In the past, I've lived in Warsaw and Paris and in each city I looked for something similar to Eskişehir. Here in Switzerland, for example, Geneva is my favorite city because when I'm there I feel as if I am in Eskişehir. And I've a question: How did you manage to learn Turkish that well? Fabulous video of this lovely little city. I visited from Istanbul (by fast train) in October 2019, just a month after the Odunpazarı Modern Müzesi opened. Superb architecture. The word meerschaum comes from German and literally means "sea foam". Clever work but too ornate for me so I didn't purchase. Single men all grouped together on the beach so that they can't hassle single women. No comment. Eskişehir is famous for its fried çiğ börek. My neighbour grew up in Eskişehir and she makes delicious çiğ börek, stuffed with mincemeat and wonderfully crispy. I failed to find anywhere in Eskişehir that matched her çiğ börek.
My wife and I stayed for 2 nites in Eskisher about 7 years back. Wow can't recognise the transformation at all! Will need to pay a visit again. Thanks for this lovely video.

As a 19 year old Eskişehir citizen who has spent almost his entire life in here, I thorouglhy loved this video. I believe your explanations and points are quite accurate. Also if you haven’t left the city yet, I would urge you to eat ‘Balaban Kebap’ which is an unique sort of kebab special to Eskişehir. There is a historic place behind the manopoly building called ‘Abdüsselam Balaban Kebap’.
We did eat balaban but the footage wasn’t good enough! next time

Eskisehir is a quite modern and civilised city. It wasn’t this unique before the mayor Mr. Buyuksersen. His contributions to Eskisehir is admirable. Now it’s rated one of the most student friendly and safest cities among Turkey. I reckon it’s the most livable in Turkey as well.
As a person who grew up in Eskişehir, I'm crying at the moment, literally. I live in Lausanne, Switzerland and you cannot imagine how I miss my lovely hometown. It's one of the best videos I've ever watched about Eskişehir. In the past, I've lived in Warsaw and Paris and in each city I looked for something similar to Eskişehir. Here in Switzerland, for example, Geneva is my favorite city because when I'm there I feel as if I am in Eskişehir. And I've a question: How did you manage to learn Turkish that well? I'm really impressed. I'm struggling with French here. Thank you very much for the great video!

I lived in London for 17 years and moved to Eskişehir 7 years ago. I loved your video, which is very informative and very interested to watch. The shootings of the city and the musics in the video are excellent. The way you presented Eskisehir is very accurate and honest. You should definitely visit Mersin. It has a lot of historical places, castles, churches, bays and a sea that draws you in. It also has one of the most beautiful beaches in Turkey. I hope to see a video of you visiting Mersin (İçel) on your channel.
I spent a day in Eskişehir a couple years ago. Ended up visiting many pastry and coffee shops. It's nice for a day trip.

Çibörek ise şehir merkezinde Kırım Tatar Kültür Evi'nde yenir. En güzel çibörek ise Alpu ilçesindedir. Bunun haricinde Devrim arabası görülmesi gereken noktalardan biridir. :) ESkişehir'e yine bekleriz :)

Fabulous video of this lovely little city. I visited from Istanbul (by fast train) in October 2019, just a month after the Odunpazarı Modern Müzesi opened. Superb architecture. The word meerschaum comes from German and literally means "sea foam". Clever work but too ornate for me so I didn't purchase. Single men all grouped together on the beach so that they can't hassle single women. No comment. Eskişehir is famous for its fried çiğ börek. My neighbour grew up in Eskişehir and she makes delicious çiğ börek, stuffed with mincemeat and wonderfully crispy. I failed to find anywhere in Eskişehir that matched her çiğ börek.

Ayrıca, Bilim Kültür Parkı'nda taksi beklediğiniz kapının tam karşısında harika bir hayvanat bahçesi (içinde göl var) ve Sabancı Bilim Merkezi ve de Akvaryum var. Bilim merkezinde özellikle çocuklara uzay ve astronotlar hakkında bilgi veriliyor (pandemide belki de kapalıydı) Tavan uzay boşluğu ve yıldızlarla dolu bir gösteri.

Best friends Trudie and Mick. I don't like big cities, just give me small beautiful real Turkish villages. I think the biggest city I visited was Antalya, but I much prefer to go to Alanya. I like to look forward to that with interest, your You Tube videos always fascinate me, Turkey is my second home and if I have enough money, I buy something in Turkey myself.
