This is so great! Your video is so detailed & will help us plan our trip to Istanbul in May. Cannot wait to visit the Bazaar, the Blue Mosque & so much more!!! Thank you so much!!!!
Awesome!!!!! Istanbul is such a fantastic city to visit, we went back again in May for a 2nd visit and could definitely go back for a 3rd time. Thanks so much for watching we appreciate the support!!! Have a wonderful cruise : ) We also did a couple of videos on Dolmabache Palace, The Grand Bazaar, doing an authentic turkish bath and don't miss out on the Bascilica Cistern, it probably was my favorite. Here is the link to that.. ruclips.net/video/YVcMw4Kjwj8/видео.html
I love your advises! In fact, many of them ( maybe even all of them!) we should aply to any different culture we are visiting. Thanks for this vídeo! Very useful
Yes I totally agree!!!! Thanks so much for watching, we appreciate the support. We also did several other videos while we were in Istanbul, Dolmabache Palace, The Grand Bazaar, doing an authentic turkish bath and don't miss out on the Bascilica Cistern, it probably was my favorite. Here is the link to that.. ruclips.net/video/YVcMw4Kjwj8/видео.html
Thank you for breaking down the areas! None of the other videos did that and I was wondering how I can plan my trip if i don't know how far apart the areas are.
Hi Gabrielle Glad it was helpful! Istanbul is such a great city to visit! We just returned from Istanbul, couldn’t get enough the first time so wanted to visit again. Thank you for watching 😎
Our pleasure! Thanks so much for watching & supporting our channel. We just returned from our 2nd visit to Istanbul. Just really enjoyed our visit there. Hope it helped plan your vacation 😎
This is a great informative video. Thank you so much. I'm planning my trip and this has been the most organized and informative video! Also, I can't seem to find the video u mentioned about review on the Hilton doubletree old city? Any chance u can link it?

Is it true that the grand bazaar is triple the price than just buying same the items outside of the bazaar ? I’m going to Turkey next year with my church and I want to stay in a budget
I have not heard that. Prices are all over, do you research a little bit before going to the market so you know what to pay. I was looking at a Louis Vuitton fake bag & some stores were charging $350 & I got them down to $180. There is a huge markup in the market & any of the stores in Istanbul. And very important if they ask you for some Turkish tea it means they want you to stay in the store longer - which means you are most likely to purchase from them
Your advice about a taxi from the airport as the best is inaccurate. At about $3.50 per person, Havaist bus is the absolute best way to get to Istanbul center especially for single travelers. It runs every few minutes, a nice luxurious bus, plenty of space for luggage and you pay the driver with a credit card.
Yes! Like we say in the video, the tram line is quite useful, easy, and effective - but you can’t trust those taxi guys! (The taxi app does help though).
Take your chèque book because its pricey and scams galore and hidden taxes on drinks and meals and alot of forcive sellers. Transport is reasonably priced but unless you are confident train/tram traveler In dence crowds not easy. Warning prices have more than doubled even trippled since the release of this vlog.
Hmmmmm sorry you feel like that I came up with our name to our travel channel on my own. Love being known as The Scottsdale Travel Chick ✈️ thanks for watching

Very informative and nicely done video. New as of January 2024, there is an entry fee for foreign tourists. The cost is almost $28 or €25.

It's not a river. It's a strait/canal. That's like calling the panama canal a river.

Great video, however, your name, Travel “chick” is a bit offensive and archaic.
