What i love about Yuri is that she isn't afraid of experimenting food. She also doesn't give up even though she almost failed the first one. She has like a backup plan if needed
In Southest Asia, especially Malaysia and Indonesia - Sambal Hijau made from green chilies together with onion and others things. In Mexico, we got Salsa Garde made from green tomatoes And now, we got Korean Green Gochujang! I love how the diversities are, I am from Malaysia and cant wait to try this recipe with what I have!
In malaysia and also indonesia have chili paste or in malay we say sambal cili. To make it green just use green chilli. We just eat it with our rice. But yuri’s one is quiet different as we just grind and make the chilli in course size
Yes i like that and i also combine with rice to eat👍 and i meet a friend from Indonesia and cooked the dish they called it rendang,it is beef meat and coconut milk with some ingredients, it was so delicious my favorie dish👍😊
Lol there is green chilli paste in India - the same exact sauce with coriander, chilli, lemon, salt and bread for consistency. So it doesn't even have the sticky honey like texture this one has. It's fresher in taste I suppose.
Yuri that is awesome discovery. You can put a trademark on it.😊 some other countries got a different version of it too. I am a fan of their team.. Fighting!❤❤❤
In Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand, it's common sauce. We use green chillies and green pepper. Malaysia and Indonesia we called it Sambal Ijo/Hijau while Thailand normally a sauce. Like seafood sauce.
Same goes to other countries such as malaysia, we dont hv the green chilli paste, but we hv green sambal means the green chillies either we blend or manual using stone mortar. If yuri really does trademark this recipe she will get fortunes from it (i am sure kyeonghwan has his share also). This is like the green chilies version of gochujang no? At first I was expecting something like Southeast Asian green sambal which is very spicy and delicious but the texture is totally different since Yuri uses the powder.

I think this chili paste is good to combine with dried pollack fish.oven the dried fish till become crisp and then pound it to crash but not powdered, its just like chili crash then combine to that chili paste, it' s for side dish and also good to combine into the rice roll

Green chilli paste with cucumbers, boiled corn, chaats is quite famous in India
Salsa verde is green because of green tomatoes, not because of green chili peppers. In Mexico we have both red and green tomatoes.

Green Chilli paste goes with samosas in India..............
Nepalese people make a very simple version, blending green chillies, salt, cheese or mayo, try it, its so good
There is a coconut chutney with green chillies which we make regularly and it goes with many South Indian dishes like dosai, idli, vada, baji, etc.
In Thailand there is seafood sauce which is green and similar to salsa verde
We made many versions of chilli sauce but none with syrup. Gonna try this . It looks glossy too.
I want to try this so badly!!

No. The taste is different. Gochujang is hot pepper taste, this has a different depth to it
@@Maltcandyxp gochujang is not hot tho, it's more in the sour side since it is fermented with hint of sweetness

the reason why they don't make green gochunjang is because red colour appears to be more appetizing than green.
We have "sambal cabe ijo" here in indonesia.. it's made from green chili pepper
Yuri should make a patent for this green chili paste.. she can sell it if she wants...
