I saw a recipe on internet a couple of day back. It is called the lazy pasta where you just dump the veggies, sauces, pasta, water into a single pan and cook it for 15mins or so and the dish is ready to eat. But this video is on a whole new level. I respect her for taking so much time do feed her family with the best food.

Don't think that just because your mom didn't do this all she didn't love you. I'm sure she worked extremely hard to provide you the love that she knows, sometimes we go through stages in life that we don't understand why our parents treat us different to others (it's because they have learnt that from their parents, to them that is their definition of love) so that's why learn their love language and try to alter it with yours. If you're reading this and you have some problems going with your parents, go to them and kiss them and try forgive them if they hurt you because trust me, they are usually right, the people you hang out with aren't always what u think they are, they aren't always right for you, you never know when life will suddenly end. Always give as much love as you can to those who actually matter and that is your family.

I don’t understand the use of yeast salt. If she wants to give her child less sodium she can use less salt.
But using less salt can be a bit bland and unappetising. Using yeast salt taste same as using the original amount of salt but with less sodium

She makes her own soy sauce for her daughter but uses store bought soy sauce in the oyster sauce.
how did you know that's a store bought soy sauce? just wondering...

Because she needs a lot to make oyster sauce. I think making her own soy sauce takes a lot of time and effort, so she is only using it for her kid.
Also can’t she just use less oyster sauce if she wants to make it taste mild
Do you know how much effort and time it takes to make soy sauce? I'm Korean and our family made them. It takes months of fermentation and you really can't make them in small batches. You need sunlight and shade, and a large clay pot. You also need to have completely dry ground soy curd as base to make dwenjang.
She just makes her own oyster sauce to adjust sodium and sugar levels for her kid. She doesn't need to make her own soy sauce, she just needs to put less of it in the oyster sauce to dilute the salt level which she already has done.
