What, you think CM Punk doesn't know those people? You think he just left out their opinions when he said the EVERY UFC fighter that came here said WWE was harder? Of course there's more injury from a UFC fight, they're TRYING to injure each other lol I just said that pound for pound, UFC is a tougher sport, but you have to understand that it's NOT. You do one fight, survive, and chill for 6 months. In WWE, you work damn near EVERY DAY, putting your body at risk, and getting hurt, I guarantee.
Keep punk away from your gurl yo...he may have a lil thang for her...got that vibe from him...but any way good luck to the team gettin the interviews done!
I think it's more him being very pro female in general. I think he believes everything should be split and not depend on a woman to do everything for you. I remember during the Rihanna Chris Brown fight he challenged Chris to a fight.
everyone saying that mma is harder because its real, not true, 300+ days on the road per year, having to remember scripts/spots/moves, having to pull off each move without botching, not seeing family e.t.c. makes it harder for a pro wrestler, more mentally than physically however.
Ok so first I'm not saying that fake wrestling isn't hard cause it is with all the travel and lack of down time but they're stuntmen that's it, mma is far more difficult having to master kickboxing, wrestling, muy tai, brazilian jiu jitsu just to be a well rounded fighter plus training camp conditioning, weight lifting, and the worse weight cutting that's what makes mma harder having to make a certain weight
Wrestlers in the WWE, for the most part, stay at a certain weight for their frame to maintain peak performance. MMA guys also don't have to go through tables or fall off 10 foot ladders on a regular basis, so it's really apples and oranges when you compare them.
That's where you're wrong they don't mater all those martial arts. They take a few from each and use but t's mostly kick boxing and "amateur" wrestling. It takes years to completely master any martial art. And while some guys master one or two they never master them all. That's why you don't see guys like Michael Jai White that's mastered 7 martial arts in UFC. Guys like that are in a league of their own and would destroy most mma guys pretty quickly. Now many WWE guys are regular, some are not. They still have to lift, they have to go through training, they have to learn how not to kill each other, and once that's done they wrestle almost every day of the year. Even when they're hurt they wrestle, many of those guys in WWE have to continue to perform injured. And many of the WWE guys are athletes that competed in the Olympics, or is ex military. Both deserve respect for doing what they do but having your children grow up without you, not seeing your wife or husband for long periods, and having to continue on sometimes with fractured bones takes a toll. Hell I hear of more people having broken necks, fractured spinal columns, or head injuries in WWE than I thought possible. Also I'd rather go into UFC than be a stuntman for movies or WWE. Why, because as a stuntman you get one shot if you fuck it up you can be seriously injured or die. Just look at Burt Reynolds, started out as a stuntman, did his own stunts throughout his career, and can barley walk and move now. Being a stuntman is the express lane to death, but we need and love them. In UFC if you can't go on or something bad happens they'll stop the fight quickly before it gets too bad.
Bully is a great throwback heel arguably the best heel in years. I agree Morgan had the look though he lacked personality and mic skills in saying that I would still take him over Sabin he lacks mic skills and just comes of as a fluke champion that I seriously doubt will ever be champ again. Aries is small however I find he is able to be entertaining enough to compensate what he lacks. Wrestling is about characters and Aries is one of the most entertaining characters in wrestling today.
I think Punk, who is a wrestler, trains BJJ and is friends with A LOT of guys in the MMA world, has more right to answer the "which is harder: MMA or wrestling" question than ANY of the people in the comment section, who are just armchair experts.
I agree to a certain extent however wrestling lacks the depth that it once did Rarely will you have a wrestler that is big with mic skills If we were in a position to have to push a big guy with mic skills or a smaller guy with mic skills of course you would choose the bigger wrestler however these days they are a dying breed Gone are the days when we had talented big men with that IT factor like Hogan Savage and Nash I would rather watch Aries over Rob Terry just because he is more "believable"
And Brock Lesnar went to the UFC and became the World Heavyweight Champion. lol That's not even my argument, I never said UFC fighters were inferior. My point is, Brock Lesnar found it easier mentally and physically to compete in the UFC. That's why he left the WWE in the first place and then came back only as a part time worker there. It's because the yearly schedule of a WWE wrestler way more demanding than a UFC one.
rampage wants to go to WWE I think that will work out he can actually be very entertaining and funny and he's good athlete so I hope it happens maybe him vs Brock Lesnar
Given he's a huge comic book fan, it wouldn't surprise me if that's exactly what he's gong for. Also, guest star credit goes to the Big Show for popping up in the background.
Wrestlers gets hurt in every matches and they have to wrestle through injuries a lot. And they travel 300 days a year, it takes a level of toughness that isn't required in MMA. Just because it's staged doesn't mean it's not extremely physical.
Wrestling is harder because your moves have to be right and your boss is watching you doing to moves and if you fail he will warn you I know mma is tought too but you dont 3 or 4 times a week so wrestling is harder
There is no doubt that pound for pound, UFC is tougher, but the fact is it's not pound for pound, and there's no way around that. The fact is it's more taxing on the body to do WWE almost EVERY DAY rather than do one fight every few months. UFC fighters can take pain killers, those aren't illegal drugs, and don't think they don't man, don't be ignorant. And big guns in UFC would HATE to fight that often, trust me. There is a reason every UFC fighter said WWE is harder too, think about that.....
not really, man. ryback has improved a LOT ... he is one of the better heavyweights in the modern era ! not as good as brock lesnar maybe and I personally prefer big E langston but ryback is good, too. you shouldn't bother with that troll though ... ignore him ...
Plus you can NOT compare the fights between UFC and wrestling. Wrestling is a ballet with body slams. You have to know when to fake out and act like you are in pain. Plus, 90% of MMA moves are banned in WWE or other wrestling companies because they are way too dangerous. Imagine MMA fighters going through that every 6 months or so. People really should stop comparing actual fighters to wrestlers/actors.
to be fair, i think the comparison it's balanced. mma they train everyday and fight every couple of months, but the fights are a lot brutal. i mean take an mma fighter and a wwe wrestler and make a longevity comparison. mma fighter have shorter careers, due to injuries or whatever. wwe wrestlers also take those risks, but it's a safer enviroment they perform, the two guys fighting take care of each other, trying not to be too agressive.
MMA fighters go out there and get their shit fucked up, good or bad you will get hit and it will hurt because they mean to hurt you. However wrestlers have to learn how to not hurt you (too much) plus wrestling moves, plus the acting that includes the gimmick, almost a whole year going in and out of airports and looking at trees pass by the window, they're away from their families and have to subject to their bosses will. Yep it's harder.
in a video the Hardy Boys are high off their asses and talking about how caffeine is a drug because its addictive and how Punk loves Pepsi which has some...
1.49 (on mma): "I personally can't speak from experience ... not yet."
...

Look at all the fancy suits everybody brings to the red carpet and then Punk just comes with a casual shirt...that's why we love him!
When he lifted his shirt up, best part of the interview.
Always enjoying Cm Punk's interviews, wish it was a bit longer :)
When CM Punk lifted up his shirt, I think Sam's wife went, "Oh, so that's what a real man is supposed to look like."
awwwww CM Punk is a sweetheart! I love him!! One day I got to meet him!!!
1:30

I think it's more him being very pro female in general. I think he believes everything should be split and not depend on a woman to do everything for you. I remember during the Rihanna Chris Brown fight he challenged Chris to a fight.
JoeCnNd yeah
@Milton Waller anyways he never said anything about drinking coffee or something with caffeine in the video
I love punk, dude is the best in the world (not just a catch phrase) and he's just a friendly regular guy...
This is one of the better interviewers i heard. Sort of.
@ Milton Waller caffeine is not a illegal drug nor is it a over the counter drug
His craft in wwe very good. He can act and wrestle really good. he should open a talk radio show.
I think i fainted when he lifted his shirt up xD
Lmao 2:53 Big Show
Rosenberg is the best WWE interviewer then it would have to be you Sam
Cm Punk vs Austin Aries is like a dream match if it does happen in Wrestling world
Not yet...
Doesn't matter how tired he is, Punk always gives the best interviews.
Count how many times he says "you know what I mean?"

He's a cool dude, and he's awesome on the mic. With that said, I will be the last guy on Earth who says that CM Punk is a gifted wrestler.
Ken Shamrock, King Mo and Dan Severn have all stated that
Bully is a great throwback heel arguably the best heel in years. I agree Morgan had the look though he lacked personality and mic skills in saying that I would still take him over Sabin he lacks mic skills and just comes of as a fluke champion that I seriously doubt will ever be champ again. omg cm punk,, best in the world
I think Punk, who is a wrestler, trains BJJ and is friends with A LOT of guys in the MMA world, has more right to answer the "which is harder: MMA or wrestling" question than ANY of the people in the comment section, who are just armchair experts.

and defienatly one that fits his kind of persona

this is the first time i didn't hear cm punk respond "good luck" with "luck is for losers".
CM Punk seems like a decent humble guy
rampage wants to go to WWE I think that will work out he can actually be very entertaining and funny and he's good athlete so I hope it happens maybe him vs Brock Lesnar
WWE should hire Sam Roberts. MAKE IT HAPPEN WWE!!!

I love this guy, really do.

Shaun Michaels with a mop on the head......just kiddin i agree LOL
There's a lot more to it than that, bro!
"you know what i mean ?" haha i know ...you are the best in the world !!
How did you type this if you died?
Wrestling is harder because your moves have to be right and your boss is watching you doing to moves and if you fail he will warn you I know mma is tought too but you dont 3 or 4 times a week so wrestling is harder
Wow!!!
You married this Man OHH !! Draws a midair cross Hahaha

I loved the part when cm punk lifted up his shirt
wrestlers wrestle everyday, they're getting slammed on the mat, they're traveling 300 days a year. wrestling isn't easy
Did i hear him say "coffee" WOW!!!!!!! i thought he was straight edge

Punk rocking that check shirt, imagine the justice he would bring by wearing a Ralph Lauren Polo. Talk about making a statement.
BEST IN THE WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
not really, man.
ryback has improved a LOT ... he is one of the better heavyweights in the modern era ! not as good as brock lesnar maybe and I personally prefer big E langston but ryback is good, too.
you shouldn't bother with that troll though ... ignore him ...
uh
uh
Bam *throws up double middle fingers*
his laugh doe.
i like his shirt
its not an insult to MMA to say that pro wrestling is harder.

figuratively* you should watch some CM Punk grammar slam
This guy is fuckin' beautiful.
Punk for the win
you're*
Coffee is allowed in straight edge culture...
Cm punk can get it!! :)
in a video the Hardy Boys are high off their asses and talking about how caffeine is a drug because its addictive and how Punk loves Pepsi which has some...
hey sam... what's the haps?
(i expect an answer)
BEST IN THE WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORLD!!
BEST IN THE WORLD...AND THATS A FACT
People who say MMA is harder than professional wrestling are people who have never wrestled professional. Works the other way around too.
Cm punk ;)
Ask Ken Shamrock which is harder... After almost a decade of MMA he did two years of wrestling and his career was over in both.
2:25 , OMF . HE IS smEXY.
Are u a man
don't know if you noticed the huge Pepsi logo tat on his arm. I'm pretty sure that it has caffeine in it which is still legal.
Im a CM PUNK guy
Why did he look more toned there than when he is wrestling lol
lol he looks so disappointed when you say "what's the haps".
