Thank you, Greg! This is the best channel I've come across for Switzerland guides. Other channels and their videos are unnecessarily long and have a lot of waffle. I wasted a lot of time watching those. We're travelling next year during spring, so I'm taking notes of your tips.
Seeing your sincerity, not just quality of information, i subscribed. One day i will avail your service, 2hich can be quite useful for me if I start from Munich where i live. An answer by email with less price can be also an idea to implement, but i understand people will share that info among friend circles, denying compensation for your rightful service!
I find your videos extremely helpful and unique! Most of my plan is based on your tips. Our trip is in June. Have a couple of questions if you dont mind answering them. 1. How reasonable is this travel: Lucern(depart) -> Stechelberg cable car to Gimmelwald (few hours)-> drive to Bitsch (stay) 2. Going to Bitsch (1 night before heading to zermatt) involves car transport. I know only English. i can also get the pass online. Are there any risks? Thank you!
Hey! That‘s so nice to hear! 😄 1. Lucerne to Stechelberg is a bit more than 1.5h drive. Then you go to Gimmelwald that‘s like 5 mins cable car ride. But if you are there consider going to Mürren (another 5min ride) or even Schilthorn or Allmendhubel. This might take you all in all 4hrs. Then you can drive to Kandersteg to catch the car train, maybe another 1.5h. And then in 1h you are in Bitsch. So that‘s doable in 1 day. On the way to Kandersteg you can stop at Blausee also (made a video about it). 2. Don‘t worry about getting the ticket. I have not done this in a while but you should be able to get it there at a counter or in person. Also, you will have to park your car in Täsch (big car park there) when going to Zermatt and do the last bit by train as Zermatt is car free. Hope this helps, and thanks for watching the videos!
Hi. We have 2 days in Grindelwald, one day of which is going to be doing all the activities in Grindelwald First (do we need to book in advance for Gliders). Another day - is Jungfrau top if mountains worth going or can we do a day trip from Grindelwald? Like to try a open funicular ride. Your help much appreciated.
You can do Grindelwald First and Jungfraujoch in one day if you really push it 😊 but i would spread it out and enjoy. The open air cable are is either in Wengen to Männlichen or in Stanserhorn (1h+ car/ 2h+ train)
Is May a good time to go to Switzerland? Do I have to pack snowy clothes? I only have 3 days and I wanted to visit INTERLAKEN, Jungfrau, GRINDELWALD First & Trümmelbach Falls do you think I can approach all these activities in these days? 😮
June to end of August but it can start couple weeks earlier and end a couple weeks later. Also the higher you go in altitude in the Alps, the shorter the summer
