    I went grain free, dairy free, sugar free, gluten free and I took selenium for one year. Had the perfect diet instead of taking my medicine. What happened? My thyroid got worse and worse and I fell asleep while driving and woke up on the other side of the street. Be careful, sometimes medicine is simply necessary!

    • @denisemoye495
      @denisemoye495 Месяц назад +5

      Exactly! I tried doing everything but take medication for several years and my health deteriorated. I’ve come to the conclusion that sometimes you just have to have mediation.

    • @denisemoye495
      @denisemoye495 Месяц назад +4

      Did you notice any difference changing your diet? I’m sugar free, low carb and now have cut out gluten and I’m looking at trying to cut out dairy but I don’t want to do all this if it does bugger all! 😂

    • @--RBuo84
      @--RBuo84 Месяц назад

      @@denisemoye495 I totally understand - I found out that it depends on my goals :) For example: If I want to have less cravings and better mood I eat "as unprocessed as possible". If I am having a lot of allergies and period pain I eat "low histamine and low arachidonic acid". If I am constipated I eat "less bread/cheese and more veggies". So in general just randomly labeling food groups as "bad" and always avoiding them is not necessary (which I also did oftentimes). It's all about listening to the body and being flexible. Different foods do have certain impacts, but in my opinion the dose is what makes it bad. And my "golden rule" is just as unprocessed as possible. A little treat here and there will not harm anybody (I always tell myself it's healthier than doing coke haha :D). French, Italians, Japanese - they all live very healthy and they do not restrict in a very strict matter. I would say they live the 80:20 rule, 80% healthy and 20% joyful. I do notice feeling sluggish, angry and depressed if I binge on junk food and sugar for several weeks. When I had period cramps for example I stopped eating sugar, then dairy, then gluten - I was able to lower pain medication a bit - but still had strong cramps. Then my doctor mentioned, that histamine is the cause of menstrual pain for women with allergies. I cut out histamine, then I noticed, that arachidonic acid also causes cramps (that's why people with rheuma should avoid it). End of the story: I cut out histamine and arachidonic acid, but since that is already restricting I started reintroducing things that were ok for this way of eating: sugar, low-fat dairy, bread/gluten. And what happened? Instead of 4 pain killers I only need a half. So it was not necessary to totally restrict sugar, gluten, dairy - only what was causing my current health issue (which was histamine & arachidonic acid). But I only eat like this 1 week before my period starts and during my period. The rest of the month it doesn't matter. And since the actual "bad" thing about sugar is the insuline response, I found out that substitutes like agave sirup, honey,...have a much higher insuline response, which is even worse. So I figured out, if I combine sugar with protein and fat, the insuline will not spike as high and it is totally fine. And stress is very inflammatory, so if the diet is too strict, cortisol from stress will interfere. And stress is awful for the thyroid. Sorry for the amount of text, I hope it helped a little bit :)

    I took Levothyroxin for 15 years. I started to have constant palpitations. I was able to find an integrative medicine doctor to prescribe Armour thyroid. It did make a world of difference. I, also, went on a gluten-free diet. That definitely helped my Hashomoto symptoms, especially chronic fatigue. However, after adding dairy free and grain free to my diet, did I feel the best. I was actually feeling good until I got covid for the first time last October. I crashed completely with horrible fatigue. It took about five months to recover. Thank you for the informative videos. They have helped me a lot.

    7 years i got hashimoto. 3 years i had levothyroxine teva 75 mcg. I díd got the bloating stomach! It looked very unhealthy!! So swallen up. I got breathing problems like hyperventilatie it looked like. A rash on side of the belly. I was so fed up i drastisch stopped my medication. Within 2 weeks all side effects disappeared !!!
    3 months i did not take anything. I felt more and more myself...after 3 months my thyoroid test got worse. Then i got Tirosint 25 mcg...as soon i took it in 20 min. I felt straight away my stomach got irritated. 2 y Tirosint 25 i got hartpalpitations. To find out i took 13 more because i heard too less or too much could cause it. At this moment i have no hartpalpitations since half of march 2024. Then i tried again 13 mcg. Then i got headaces almost every day for 4 weeks. After cut down within 1 week ni headaces. Then i thought maybe i had a virus catched. So 1 day take Total 51, i started ti feel terrible !!!! So bad that i made appointment for my docter. Anyway i stopped the last 13. Now every day 38.
    Maybe i am going to try out again without pills. But this last week i felt slow, bad focus, bit of depression...i wait a while until i am bit in balance.
    Since i used meds i gained 15 kg atleast! I see my skin changing like bobbly with fat or water underneath. White spots like scartissue all over my body. My stomach lives it own life...some days it gets flatter again but now it is worse like that place is more fat then ever !! I was always healthy, slim, looking 20y younger....in these 7 y i am fat, look older because my skin in my neck hangs, corner of my mouth hangs etc....
    This is nót the person i was 7 y ago !!!! I want to be myself again....loose all this fat, i want to be healthy. I know for certain these medication are making you ill in an other way !!!!

    Your video is so timely.God is always on time to reveal things to us.I will be sharing w my physician because i have questions for them.
    ? Do you have any pts you switch over to another product? Do you do gut support or liver support for your hypothyroid patients as liver is part of the problem w slow digestion in hypothyroid pts? Thanks for your work and for sharing this information

    Finally one doctor who has the courage to speak out the truth. THANK YOU DR. GUPTA.
    My instincts made me literally reduce my thyroid medications from 50 to now 12.5 and my tsh remained quite the same throughout while my t4 and t3 were always normal. Proof that the medications did nothing at all. I only kept feeling worse each year passed. Not only I have (had) hashimoto and I now have literally zero antibodies by simply changing diet.. gluten free, no diary and no sugar. Also I am into intermittent fasting which was what did the magic. I do take organic MCT oil C8 and Black seed oil two spoons every morning. Loads of vegetables, fermented foods. No meat but eggs and at times fish ( never farm fish). Obviously I do take triphala, turmeric, vitamin D, K2, vitamin C, zinc every single day. Either you get in touch with a trustworthy functional doctor or just remove all the triggers for six weeks and I can guarantee you will notice the change. One can also check videos of Dr. Gundry, cardio surgeon.

      Mine is more than 1200. Even I am following a gluten,dairy free diet... No sugar even... Reduced 10kg
      . Bt levels are not coming down..
      I went to Endocrinologist today..and as per him, everything is fine..I said I am unable to conceive due to high anti bodies..he said no worries, go for IUI/IVF...I was like wow..
      And also said don't take selenium, zinc..no use.not required..

    If you plan on getting on hormone, make sure it’s the correct one. Also, make sure you eat well first-before you get on any hormone, this is very important. You need to heal hashimotos to feel better.. you will only feed the hashimotos more if you take hormone and eat poorly.. it’s giving it fuel. Remember, you can do everything right and still need hormone.. so make sure you take the correct one. Foods to remove: Grains (this includes all grains such as wheat, rice, corn, etc.) dairy, soy, sometimes eggs, sugar (even honey and maple syrup), nightshades, legumes, nuts, any foods that may cause sensitivities, coffee, etc. Then practice intermittent fasting. Lower stress, be calm.. find peace and healing. Don’t watch the news if it stresses you.. try to be as mindful of stress as you possibly can be..
