I really appreciate you being a stickler with the prototypes. Logic would make you think it's the opposite but getting the pattern JUST RIGHT is even more important on super simple garments. There's nothing to look at but the flaws!
I'm excited you're back to the collection!

You get it! I also find that I end up prototyping stretch fabrics more than wovens! Even though you think it would be the opposite

For stretch fabrics I take 5 or 6 inches off my measurements

It makes sense to me, that you’re being so critical with these pieces tho! Especially with minimalistic designs, small changes can change the look completely ☺️

I worked as a pattern maker for garment industry and we did sportswear, believe me the item that had most issues was tanktop, looked pretty simple yet it went through a lot of changes 😂

I love how much you motivate yourself to make it good how you want it. I am 13 and I watch your videos all the time because I love to sew and I have learned numerous things because of your videos

Instead of adjustable straps, you can make the straps tie-up and that way it'll be adjustable and cute

Which is the pattern making software that you use?
It looks so convenient over the hand made patterns.

Just because it works for one body doesn't mean it will fit all .. adjustable straps means it's going to adjust for more people. You can never make a strap one size and expect it to fit all bodies the same
