  • This is the first part of a multiple video series featuring the Shinenyx AIM 101, Digital Night vision/Thermal Fusion optic, which brings thermal fused with Digital night vision to the masses at a price under 3000.00, This scope has been pretty impressive with how well the sensor on it works and how little light it actually needs.
This optic was provided to us by Shinenyx for making content on it, however this will not affect how we do our videos.
But combine this with Thermal technology and you really increase the usefulness of digital night vision, Both technologies kinda make up for the short comings of eachother.
In this video we take a look at the optic on the tabletop, Everything that comes with the optic in the box, The multiple buttons and In scope menu items and their functions.
Part 2 will be coming soon! Where we hit the range with this optic.
Music is “Screen Saver” Written by Kevin MacLeod.

Were all these pictures and videos taken in complete darkness? Just trying to get an idea if there was ambient light helping the clarity or if this thing is really that awesome in the pitch black darkness. Thank you!

Hello! the store pictures were taking in a standard urban parking lot after dark so you had parking lot lights that were on. The one with the fireflies was in complete darkness, only moon light, the goats one well you can see a light to the forward right of the goats who are eating. All of the footage taken of the scope menu items were taken right at dusk/dark, The cows starting at 17:07 were taken in complete darkness from a distance, Moonlight at night. And the footage at 22:25 was taken in complete darkness.
Watch part 2 and you will see some shooting done right after the sun goes down. In part 3 i will have more complete darkness footage taken as well.
