    Listening to the sound of that Toyota 3.5L 2GR-FE V6 will never get old 👏👏 it’s an ancient engine but it’s a good one. I have a church member who has this generation Lexus ES 350 and it’s a perfect daily driver that’ll be comfortable. If you were looking for a comfortable luxury cruiser back in 2010, I’d say this was one of the top contenders. The ES is literally the epitome of what Lexus built its reputation on back when Toyota launched the brand in 1989.

    I've been driving a es300 since I bought it new in 94. Decided to buy a 'new' car and test drove a lit of different cars. In the end i bought a 2007 es350 with 68k miles. The car is in immaculate condition and was religiously maintained by the original owner. I like the car so much. It's not a sporty car, but im looking for comfort and this car delivers. It still has plenty of power for passing and mountain driving despite not being a sport model. I couldn't be happier.

      @RC-117 Месяц назад +1

      That is the same reason I bought my 2010 ES 350. I’m more of a luxury car person than a sports car person and this car delivers and exactly what you said it’s all about comfort not about sportiness. Whenever I’m on the highway, I just feel like I’m riding on a cloud and I enjoy just taking cruises in this car because it is so comfortable, and that’s what I wanted a comfortable soft ride; which Lexus delivers. I will be keeping this car forever. For a 2010 it only has about 165K and that’s baby miles for the 3.5 2GR-FE engine that truly is of its generation and lasts.

      I have this same car in black. I love, and am obsessed with it. It’s a luxury car and that’s what I wanted but this car is a sleeper and it is true. You are so isolated from the outside. The engine is always so quiet. You barely even hear it compared to like the RX 350 where the engine is loud. Mine has about 165K and it drives like it has 5 miles on it. I appreciate the quality of Lexus and it’s the only brand that I will continue to ever drive. The car is a sleeper, especially having 3.5 V6 when you need it! Mine is just missing the rear power sunshade, but I got over it lol

    One thing I don't like is that the startup sound is muffled by the voice when starting the car.
    If it doesn't work, can you stop the message when starting the engine so that I can hear the startup sound clearly in future videos? 😅

      I must say the 2007 through 2012 generation ES 350 is the best looking. That’s why I love mine for the 2010 model. They did that cosmetic freshness and updates. It has a very sleek look, the way the roof floats into the trunk, the chrome door handles, and I really like the lower chrome trim on the doors; it looks so good, not fond of the 2013 through 2018 generation of course I love the interior and how it looks, but I love my body style. I always look at my car and just say how sexy it is. I have black, but unfortunately, the tan interior but the car looks good in black with the tinted windows.

      Similar performance numbers, so they are really close. The 2020 I tested in similar weather gave me super close numbers.
      Here are three of my test drives of the Maxima with numbers so you can compare. I have included the 2011, 2020, 2023, so you can compare. The 2011 and 2023 were filmed on very cold perfect weather days, so in 80-90 degree weather their numbers will not be as good.
