This. I was surprised he didn't mention it. More than anything she singing in perfect pitch, there's no mistakes, so it sounds like a studio recording. She's done this song a lot and has it down to a science. However, that's not true of other songs she's done like Adele's Rolling in The Deep - she makes some mistakes throughout and isn't as used to that style as this.

@@l.u._is_lost2848 well, we are talking about ukrainian talent girl. Odessa where she is from mostly russian speaking city, and also its does not mater what language she was singing, the talk about her amazing an exclusive voice.
I just have to mention that you're wrong about the lazy jaw thing and that words could be pronounced better. Russian is a very contrived language and your chin feels like is tucked in all the time and your jaw doesn't move much, is not a language with open vowels and projected sounds, just watch any russian talking or singing, it sounds like they're actually saving the effort. To make your jaw any more loose or lips more open would be the equivalent of someone singing in English and sticking their tongue out to sing their vowels better, it wouldn't be natural to the language even though it could potentially sound better to foreign listeners.
I tried to say the same thing in English and Russian, and I did notice that my jaw doesn't move as much compared to when I speak in English. I never noticed this difference till now.
Apparently, that has to do with the climate of each country. Warmer countries speak languages with more vowels so they require a more open mouth, thus the stiffness of Russian language.

Everything I agreed with until 8:27 "she is singing with almost no vibrato" Bruh, whut!? She has one of the best vibratos I have ever heard. It's the kind of vibrato that is not forced and doesn't need you to manipulate it using your jaw. She just keeps her mouth in one position and her vocal chords do it. It's the best kind of vibrato for me since it doesn't go wide and away from the root note, it softly oscillates just enough to be a beautiful ornament to any note. And she uses it quite a bit here. Other singers with wide vibrato end up sounding extremely out of tune in their later years since they lose control of it cuz it damages their vocal chord to the point where they can't even correct it, they just keep doing it or sing with no vobrato at all (and for some of them this is also bad because from doing so much wide vibrato they forget how to hold a note in tune lol) This woman has been blessed with the most gorgeous vibrato.

Here is original ruclips.net/video/XUaTdMVMDFo/видео.html Aida must to be ashamed! Hype, hype! disgusting! after the x factor Aida gave "concerts" and there she sang the song "Lullaby" and it is impossible, because copyright for text and design is protected in accordance with Russian and international law. The copyright is vested in the author, Polina Gagarina composed the song "Lullaby" herself at the age of 17. And now Polina performed in 2019 in China with her own song „Lullaby“ in a new arrangement. ruclips.net/video/cSO1GuJBMBw/видео.html Her vocal range is stunning.
Geheimnis Geheimnis I've just listened to the 2019 version, it's great. As for thia x factor version, a cover is never good as the original especially since I always respect the author and composer of the original! Besides, at these shows people usually sing covers, sometimes there's a fuss about them, sometimes not, but it means very little if you don't write a good song for yourself! Aida doesn't have to be ashamed because people are always more likely to listen to a song they already know than an original. If anything, it's hard if they only remember you from a cover, it's hard to shake that off! So this viral "success" maybe even made it harder for her to make it in music. Anyhow, it was a nice performance, but Polina is the real deal ;) sorry for the long comment
she should be ashamed of her deeds, Aida sang Polina's Lullaby at own concerts. Concerts are not a song contest and Aida did not get any music rights from Polina, that is punishable. Okay, an example: a stranger comes to your home and brings along a lot of strangers that you obviously don't know. All these people come to you every day, eat your food, use your towels would you like it? That what I mean „to be ashamed“ because one works hard and the other takes what doesn't belong to him. Yes, at the "SINGER 2019" competition in China Polina sang Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera cover instagram.com/tv/Bv4uCwHo63D/?igshid=92c3fb73h5l7 ruclips.net/video/UT_V4wyCZKw/видео.html but not at her own concerts, at them she sings only her songs, here is a final song at her concert. ruclips.net/video/gv7Arp3vIgc/видео.html
@@geheimnis5235 oh, I didn't understand that she didn't get the rights, sorry. Sometimes the author gives permission for their songs to be performed live, even get some commision for that (that's the way 2cellos play covers live in their concerts, but they have permission of every author to do so). In that case, she shouldn't perform it live!
Is it just me? She went on the show to sing. They controlled the music. How would she come on a tv show about singing, give them a tape and have them play it?
You can also bring your own track if you gotta sing an og or a mix. Grace Vanderwaal is a proper example for the first case. But I'm pretty sure that it's been checked before.

I have seen this video years ago and always though that she has some kind of delayed echo in her voice, your explanation about flanger is more realistic..Thank you
it's not the jaw that's causing the sound but her nasal cavity... not something most people have control over since it just kinda ends up how it ends up as you grow but it does impact the sound of your voice more than people seem to realize... until you have a cold and that hollow cavity isn't there to resonate in it's normal way.
Aida Nikolaitchuk : The Lady from Ukraine with the natural gift ! She is just an amazing vocalist that lacks confidence on this audition however she did an incredible job . The judges were confused because her voice sounds "too good to be true" but she is the real deal .
I had seen this video couple times before but couldn't understand what they were saying but had an idea.. Seeing the caption made this even more exciting to watch.. thanks for the info.
Aida forgot the words to a Whitney Houston song later in the competition but won anyway because she flawlessly performed three delightful musical comedy show tunes that allowed her to show her considerable acting talent. One video revealed that when the winner's limo showed up at her hotel she was in the crowd waiting to see who won the competition. The limo driver had to search for her in the crowd to tell her that the limo was for her.
The produces actually ruined this because in post production they did alter the pitch to make her sound more articial to make it more dramatic as if the judges really had good reason to stop her. She is actaully much better. All the analysis comments at the end are non sense because it's not her actual voice.
Perfect analysis. Let me say this, she is singing effortlessly, even high pitch notes r uttered without protruding her veins out in her neck. And the jaws r moving so casually as if she is talking kindly to a person

At first I was going to blast you out if you said she was fake because her voice is beautiful and she practiced this song at home every time she heard it, so she was practicing with the sounds on the radio. She brought tears to to my eyes hearing her sing acapella and still gives me goosebumps hearing her sing that song and that is something no singer has done to me while listening to them. I was so happy she won! She is amazing! I do feel a little bad for the original singer of the song and I have heard her original version and think 100% Ada sings it so much better with so much heart! I don't understand a word of the song but it's beautiful.

You are a very good teacher! I learned a few things from you. Helped to hear you really explain what you were talking about with this audition. I had seen this audition before and wondered the same about a recording!
I think that the author is either really very much mistaken, or wants to hype and thus add to his fame. But there is one very serious reason to think that this is a fake, i.e. the video that it evaluates. This is not the original video! I also thought that the voice on the video was a little processed. Perhaps that's why it feels like a fake. If you listen to the original video, the voice of Aida Nikolaichuk sounds very clean. This video is more than 8 years old. Now she is a very famous singer in Ukraine, Russia and other post-Soviet republics. After participating in a Mozart show on a Japanese TV channel, she became quite famous in Japan as well. She is really very talented, she has such a clear crystal voice by nature, at the time of her appearance on the X-Factor program, she was 29 years old and worked as a cashier in a supermarket. Not all professional singers have such a beautiful voice. So you are deeply mistaken.
When she starts singing acapella you can tell that one judge is thinking "Yeah I'm an asshole..." This is always been one of my favorite RUclips videos. Beautiful woman, amazing voice, and a big screw you to the judges! LOL
Thank you for the video. This was one of my favorite performances. Although she became extremely famous in her country it is a shame we have hardly heard of her in this country.
Thank you for this react video. I was blown away by her voice and irate that they stopped her and insinuated that she was faking it. And deliriously happy to see her prove them wrong and continue her fabulous singing. I am glad to hear now that there was actually a good reason for them to be a bit suspicious about this performance. Cool, that she won this competition, too.
I thought that robotic sound was poor video quality.. You just explained this so well, and much more went into this than I could imagine. Great work my man
Old but gold. If only her country knew what to do with her to use the popularity she got from this clip and the show to be even bigger. She should be up there with Dimash I think in viral live performance-ness but sadly, they give her the wrong songs and add effect to her natural voice (lord knows why) then she just sort of became like any other...

This audition never gets old! Leave a comment now, I'll be picking the most creative one and pinning it!! (But first, I'll pin this one so everybody can see!) Good Luck!
it is impossible cheeky! why then this lady? why shouldn't this version grow old? Aida sang cover, but very close to the original, and that is one song that Aida has succeeded in doing. Here is original

Aida must to be ashamed! Hype, hype! disgusting!
after the x factor Aida gave "concerts" and there she sang the song "Lullaby" and it is impossible, because
copyright for text and design is protected in accordance with Russian and international law.
The copyright is vested in the author, Polina Gagarina composed the song "Lullaby" herself at the age of 17. And now Polina performed in 2019 in China with her own song „Lullaby“ in a new arrangement. ruclips.net/video/cSO1GuJBMBw/видео.html
Her vocal range is stunning.
and here is Original live Polina Gagarina „Lullaby“ (First Version) ruclips.net/video/rRKE2KxHrtQ/видео.html
Greetings from Germany
Yes, at the "SINGER 2019" competition in China Polina sang Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera cover instagram.com/tv/Bv4uCwHo63D/?igshid=92c3fb73h5l7
ruclips.net/video/UT_V4wyCZKw/видео.html
but not at her own concerts, at them she sings only her songs, here is a final song at her concert.

I love this audition! It’s on my play list, beautiful music, lovely gal.
she is in effortless mode...... so judges were in doubt..
Thank you for your attention to details. With so many scams that are there in todays society, it is such a good feeling to knowing that one as yourself will step up and be accountable. I will be 71 this year. I heard Aida back in 2009/2010 and her lullaby gave me comfort. I’m also half Russian and ☘️.... Thank you my friend, Bob
I watched that audition like gazillion time. I love her! And even tried to memorized the song
She is NOT fake. She has perfect and absolute pitch. Only 4% of the world population has this ability.
The song was performed in Russian, not in Ukrainian. But I really love the Ukrainian language, because it is very melodic and beautiful. And it’s really nice to know that there are people with such clean and beautiful voices.
She is in key and harmonizing with the music giving the effect of another voice(track voice) being played in the background.
Wow, I had forgotten about this video. What a voice! It’s mesmerizing. Plus, she is so beautiful. Just amazing!
And probably the greatest mic drop of all is she won her season..
Thank you so much for this information you’re very professional and expert.. I saw this video before but I liked it even more when i watched your reaction
I only speak English so I did not know what she was singing. But this is also is my favorite audition. It's so beautiful that you dont need to know the words. I can feel what the song is about. Awesome voice and very stunning beauty. But in Ukraine there are so many beautiful woman.
Same
I have seen this video years ago and always though that she has some kind of delayed echo in her voice, your explanation about flanger is more realistic..Thank you
One of my favourite singing auditions. Aida looks and sounds beautiful. Одно из моих любимых прослушиваний. Аида выглядит и звучит красиво.
This is also one of my favorite auditions EVER. I really enjoyed your commentary ❤
Thank you for your reaction.
By the way she was singing in Russian not Ukrainian😉
it's not the jaw that's causing the sound but her nasal cavity... not something most people have control over since it just kinda ends up how it ends up as you grow but it does impact the sound of your voice more than people seem to realize... until you have a cold and that hollow cavity isn't there to resonate in it's normal way.
She is one of my favs to go yo ,talent wise. Thank you for proving she us legit. Hugs from Sweden.
They have these competitions to find real talent, but if you're too good they assume/accuse you of cheating.
She is totally self-trained at this point from listening and singing along with the original.
So basically the coached her and in final she sung the same some very proactive and with expressions guess what auto tune gone...
This is my favorite singing ever, i can't get enough of her voice, beautiful to ear.
Her video is at least two or three years old and yes I've watched it many times. Good vibes every time.
I've seen this video for several times before. But I've never listened such interesting opinions and explanations. Thank you it was very interesting
Dude kpop, cpop, jpop, etc do their performances 100-50 % live with HEAVY professional dancing. They work their asses off to be able to do that.
I dont really like kpop but I have a ton of respect for the artists. Learning the choreography is hard enough on it's own that I wouldn't even mind them lip syncing once in a while
Brilliant! Thank you so much for the great explanation, my friend.
It's not Ukrainian, but the Russian language. The main language of Odessa.
Одесса - это Украина. 48%украинцев говорит по-русски

I don't understand a word of the song but it's beautiful.
i liked this so much that even learn the lirycs to sing along on my car while driving / i'm catalonian and can't speak russian at all). i think i've been listening it 3 years already and even get it on my phone. i like it more that the version of polina gagarina
There's a lyric version of the original singer and it has it spelled out how to pronounce all the words in the way it sounds in the song.
When your voice is good but everyone say its fake
So how about an update...how has her career been since this audition?
I heard she won that one!
Think about this…if the judges never stopped her, we wouldn’t have been blessed with that otherworldly, Acapella performance! 💜
I always get goosebumps when I see her sing this song. Especially this very video.
You are a very good teacher! I learned a few things from you. Helped to hear you really explain what you were talking about with this audition. I had seen this audition before and wondered the same about a recording!
ok I watched an online presentation ..)) she has the uniquely throat singing ability .. when the sound originates deep inside and not in the tongue
Love this video! She is amazing
That phlange sound is natural?? My gosh I always assumed it was a vocal effect
I love rewatching that video cause it's so satisfying to show the judges a real deal talented women.
Thanks for the reaction and analysis. She is at the Ukrainian competition, but she is singing in Russian.
I listened to Aida and Polina with eyes closed... Think Aida sounds more soothing and versatile.
You call yourself vocal coach right then you couldn’t tell that her song sound highly auto tuned and edited you said it after hearing from the judges
Thank you for this reaction. I enjoyed this video when it went viral and it was a pleasure to hear it again.
What a great video 😁 Speaking of Ukrainians, you need to react to Tatiana from Jinjer 😁
I've listened to Tatina, she's crazyyyy! I just might, thanks bro! 😁
You're right. One of the best performance. Love it so many years.
She sings in Russian, the judge speaks Ukrainian and Russian
When she starts singing acapella you can tell that one judge is thinking "Yeah I'm an asshole..." This is always been one of my favorite RUclips videos. Beautiful woman, amazing voice, and a big screw you to the judges! LOL
Angelic look !!! Angelic voice !!!! Angelic performance !!!!
Great review , always loved this video, never seen anyone review it. Super cool.
Она на русском поет, а не на украинском ))))

ну по факту украинский красивее русского
Nu,kto gde rodilsa,tam i prigodilsa
@@DEN_PY Для русского уха украинский язык один из самых отвратительных.
Вообще он сказал не про песню. А про то, что это украинская версия Х-фактора.
Excellent explanation my friend . I'm not a singer but am a guitarist snd it wasn't until i found you and you explained it perfect. Again Thank You !
Фух, я уж испугалась))) Обожаю Аидочку ^^ by the way, she sing on Russian
I thought that robotic sound was poor video quality..
You just explained this so well, and much more went into this than I could imagine.
Great work my man
Old but gold. If only her country knew what to do with her to use the popularity she got from this clip and the show to be even bigger. She should be up there with Dimash I think in viral live performance-ness but sadly, they give her the wrong songs and add effect to her natural voice (lord knows why) then she just sort of became like any other...
