Damn! Them Midguard knives (probably spelt that wrong and i apologize)are dropping a ton of new great looking knives! So innovative and different from what 90% of the rest of the knife makers are doing :). They just make me smile
Those Midgards Messer 3D milled fixed blade prototypes… April release, eh? I’ll be checking their site often for it… I want that drop point. It checks off everything I’ve ever wanted in a fixed blade. Loving D2 lately, and knowing these guys know how to heat treat properly, I can’t imagine a better knife.
6 different brands, and everyone is commenting on Midgards. Seriously, they have some of the best designs I’ve ever seen. Saving up for one of those prototypes for when they drop.
Those new hogue knives look amazing, and the way the handle is designed, they wont catch your hand like the deka can when you close it. Depending how you hold the deka when you snap the knife shut, if you have it held where the very bottom of it pressed into back of your palm, the way its angled, the tip of the knife can close catching your palm and get you. The mysto design doesnt do that. Now if only they make some more affordable mysto with dif handle scales
I have severl Benchmade knives they are really good end I never hade a problem with any of them. My Hogue knife on the other side broke after light use! Never would I ever buy a Hogue knife again!
Hogue is a great company making some nice knives, but they have too many QC issues to be trusted. Maybe for the prices you pay for a USA-made knife it's forgivable, but I haven't yet had a Hogue that hasn't had some kind of problem or issue that keeps them from being a top-tier brand IMO. Certainly ain't no Benchmade killers 😆Great looking knives with hit-or-miss manufacturing.
