The reason the Sykes-fairbarn dagger is still popular is that the handle is small and easy to conceal/carry/ use. Large and small hands can hold the handle if it is long enough. Add a little more length to the handle and offer different blades shapes ( a trailing point 6” or better or a butcher knife blade). Also keep a guard on it ( blade acting as a guard). Finally, a taco sheath or one that doesn’t add width to carrying ( like the f-s sheath that comes together at the back of the blade in the middle) and has a mechanism that locks the knife into the sheath so I don’t loose it and no one can take it from me in a scuffle.
Glad to see one of my 2024 designs the "Gray Pioneer Bowie ". It is 1075 HCS 😉 There are two more from my designs that were missing. The Druid and The Matato'a (this last one in the Condor Catalog cover) Keep the good stuff Knife Center 🔪 👏👏👏
It’s great to see Tops starting to use stainless. I live on the coast and 1095 needs care. Hopefully they will start giving the option on all their knives.
Prototype B1 would be an amazing bird and trout knife. I do a lot of pheasant, quail, and dove hunting as well as a ton of fishing, this knife might just check every box for this until you get past trout in size. I’m really excited, call it the fillet and breast.
i cant wait for that compact kukri. Dont really need a full size because I already own a esee junglas for heavy duty tasks, soo the small size really suits my needs perfectly because ive always wanted a more compact kukri
12:52 yeah, I used to have that Ontario knife. Had a crappy nylon sheath so I made a custom kydex. Frank had some knife Fighting style to use that handle guard
That kind of inverted scythe blade would be good for cutting and/or skiving leather. Definitely will purchase it. Please use a blade material with high edge retention and toughness.
Hole in the bram frank knife is also to switch grips, i have old folders of him, and ud take your index or middle finger and thumb, place on opposite side of the handle, and this way u can spin the knife tiwards reverse grip
I'm really digging the blade shape on the Lilith, but I'm not sure if I like the handle with the oversized finger ring. The miniature El Chete and the miniature El Chappo are sick AF looking. I will for sure be keeping my eye out for those when they drop on the KC website. I just used my El Chete last weekend to help clear a 2 mile long dirt road (while the ladies' followed slowly behind inside our warm trucks. Lol) that leads back to a buddies old campground that he hasn't been used in 15yrs. Sucked trekking throw a foot of snow in 10° while clearing a road enough to get our trucks through, but it was fun at the same time. To get away from city life for a week with the ole lady, 2 buddies, their wives and our 5 dogs to camp out, hike a bit around a small secluded lake, drink some beers, cook some awesome food on the camp fires, shot some of our new builds (did a lot of shooting. Think the girls had more fun than us men did shooting tbh. lol), and just relax without a care in the world made all the chopping and work well worth it. Best part was laying down with the old lady at night and just looking up into to stars while a nice fire is roaring and there's no sounds other than nature. Been back home for less than 24hrs and already missing it.
The employee designed knife looks incredible imo, love the lines and it's an EDC for sure! The mini frog was also fantastic! Great lineup from tops, availability is unfortunately poor in my country which sucks because I would like a few. The rep is also very sympathetic and seems like a great guy!
Tops used to make a 4 inch blade fixed blade with peel ply g10. Swiss red symbol on the handle.i been looking for one on ebay for many years.please tops bring it back.
Ive been screaming this for years that i want to see more knoves with full grips and short blades! Tops I'll design for you for free if youll just let me make more knives with this concept
I need the CUT 4.0 in stainless,154CM or N690 at least but preferably something more premium,MagnaCut would be my personal choice in a perfect world.I mean,I have nothing against 1095,it is a very capable steel.I like everything about 1095 except for it corrosion resistant or lack there of.I have plenty of knives in 1095 but living in the very humid south,I prefer stainless..or a carbon steel with a good level of corrosion resistance, like CPM-3V
The knife at 2100, both of you commented on how much you liked the way it looked. I couldn't help but notice. If you take the direction of the spine, and the direction of the edge, and bring them to their natural conclusion, without the clip, you have a Nesmuck.
Some companies are advancing the state of the art - new locks, new materials, new ideas, etc. This ain't one of those companies. The same stuff as 10 years ago.
The miniatures put them in an ultimate back country culinary kitchen camping essentials pack. I'd buy that in a heart beat.
That little El Chete has made my day lol 😂 LOVE IT!
Those minis are perfect for a camp kitchen!! I am really liking them! And I already know a use for all 3 of them!
5:07 gimme those minis already!! When can we get those?? Want Want Want!!
Maybe make the handles slightly larger on the mini versions

God that lineup is freaking amazing! Next Level
Tops keeps getting better.
Chopo and Chete would be my charcuterie board knives 👍🏾

Tops is always one of my faves - that karambit-kukri is sick!
Cool stuff!!! The Medusa reminds me on a Bastinelli Le Rancunier design, just without the karambit ring, but it is very interesting.
The way DCA looked at the guy who walked across filming was awesome!
When do the minis come out?? I keep looking I need them
12:52 yeah, I used to have that Ontario knife. Had a crappy nylon sheath so I made a custom kydex. Frank had some knife Fighting style to use that handle guard

Interesting and super slicey selection, thank you for the demonstration KnifeCenter!

It's never to late to get a different wife 😂
Did any of them ever come out? Can’t find
The employee designed knife looks incredible imo, love the lines and it's an EDC for sure!
The mini frog was also fantastic!
Great lineup from tops, availability is unfortunately poor in my country which sucks because I would like a few.
The rep is also very sympathetic and seems like a great guy!
Man these are nice, I'm a sucker for neck knives.
Hold up are those little ones neck pieces?
Need the minis line up, would love a tiny bit more handles on them.
also loving the ivy, it's perfect.
The Blade size of the Mini frog Market Special with a nice four Finger handle would be a great fixed edc knife😊
I need that El Chete mini in my life.
That kukri looks similar to a kujang. Y'all can drop that any time, I will have my money ready to buy it!
Miniature knives for leprechauns? Other than the Bowie, I don't see any models even slightly interesting here.
I love that 4th to last knife. That would definitely be a good fishing / camp food prep knife.
Tops used to make a 4 inch blade fixed blade with peel ply g10. Swiss red symbol on the handle.i been looking for one on ebay for many years.please tops bring it back.
Tops version of the CRKT Minimalist series is 🔥 😂🤘🏽
When can we see more info on the last fixed??
The blue/carbon fiber slicer and the stainless frontier bowie are the highlights to me.
David, whats the watch you're wearing?
Nice overview! Thanks for the vid!
Pleeease please add a little more handle to those minis and I'd buy every single one of them! sick concept doing the minis
Do them like the Foltz Minimalist series at CRKT. Love my SPEW. I'm hoping for a Minimalist El Chete 🔥
Ive been screaming this for years that i want to see more knoves with full grips and short blades! Tops I'll design for you for free if youll just let me make more knives with this concept
I would love that El Chappo! I love the size!
I want that fillet knife with the blue handle 😍
I want a set of those Mini's .... Cool collection
The Medusa is absolutely insane!!!
I'll have that full line-up thank you !!!
El chete looks like it would be a great little camping food prep knife
That frog market mini looks like a really dope idea
Ganunting (or however you spell it) is dope looking!
I need a baby tracker have the t1 and t2 with my tops made browning tracker needing to be sent in!
The mini would be perfect for camping life, beach life, or even living in a van down by the river! 😂 I want a set 🙏🏽please!!!!
I like the frontier style knife. I'd go with the 1095 instead of stainless. It's a frontier style knife so it would make more sense in 1095
when will the Kukri Knives be available
The Giunting,hell yes!
That Micro Frog Market Special gets my Giblets greasy
Love those minis I want them all
Great stuff!!
I gotta say. Tops has to be one of my favourite knife makers.
Those minis are awesome. Need to be neck knives!
One day I will buy a Tops knife. Got my eye on the Backpacker Bowie specifically.
Mini el chete looks awesome
#6 is a new knife design that will inspire and standard style name ?
I need the CUT 4.0 in stainless,154CM or N690 at least but preferably something more premium,MagnaCut would be my personal choice in a perfect world.I mean,I have nothing against 1095,it is a very capable steel.I like everything about 1095 except for it corrosion resistant or lack there of.I have plenty of knives in 1095 but living in the very humid south,I prefer stainless..or a carbon steel with a good level of corrosion resistance, like CPM-3V
Wow now thats a line up good job! -buck should take notes
Very strong lineup!
all the mini knives are great, but if they do a kydex pocket sheath for the Frog Market Special I will french kiss them
Love the Seiko tuna
The mini versions of choppers is just unpractical
That little black knife is a Reverse Mini Scythe
The knife at 2100, both of you commented on how much you liked the way it looked. I couldn't help but notice. If you take the direction of the spine, and the direction of the edge, and bring them to their natural conclusion, without the clip, you have a Nesmuck.
Prototype B would be a great pealer if you reverse the edge too.
I'd buy the mini frog market!
Si that shadow hunter tho 🔥
I want that mini el chete.
Tops needs to step up their game. 1095 for 150-200$ in 2024 is not acceptable
i agree or lower there prices
A full sized handle on those minis and i'd buy all 3 of them
I would love to own a prototype : )
Can't wait until Tops starts making giant Magnacut blades. I'd buy a B.O.B. knife in Magnacut in a heartbeat.
MAGNACUT ALL OF THE THINGS!
The last one I'd call it a pterodactyl head 😂
Some companies are advancing the state of the art - new locks, new materials, new ideas, etc. This ain't one of those companies. The same stuff as 10 years ago.
I want that frog market special
That tactical knife is wild looking! Call it the banana blade. 😆
The Medusa lol. Thanks btw!
Do the Badger Creek in AEB-L!
a Kukri-Karambit!?!? Shut up and take my Money!
I'd already have those minis in my cart if they were for sale
Put those mini knives on your charcuterie board
Last one looks like the Fairbairn Cobra.
I love Tops knives, but this video makes me think of the old saying "just because you can, doesn't mean you should"
Like the Syth
Badger Creek!! Sign me up for 2!
what ever happened to the dive knives from last years shot show??
Weapons for leprechauns. They've lost their minds
You guys missed a prime opportunity to try one of those blades out on mister I’m texting
As someone called Ben, I think the prototype b1 should be called Ben
When will the lilith be available?
When will Lilith be available for sale?
I have El Chette. I couldn't legally carry the mini Chette where I live. It's still too big even at %60.
Those minis are cool but you'd be better off just turning an old handsaw blade into a dozen of them
I want the el chete
When you're used to colossal TOPS knives, these all start to look like toys.
KARANTO😮
I’d love if tops made a modern interpretation of a Gottfried grosses messer
