Some household machines have a serging stitch, it just does not cut the edge of the fabric so you guide the sewing so the overstitch happens at the edge of the fabric. There is an attachment presser foot that does dut the fabric. Different sewing machines have different offerings of stitches.
Do your stitch testing with two layers of the same fabric of the garment that you intend to sew. Make certain the lower and upper tension are correctly set.
omg i just discovered your channel and absolutely LOVE this vid, that green top is gorgeous!! so pleased to find a plus size thrift flip video with such nice editing and great vibes
Need to wind the bobbin with thread evenly which can be achieved by watching and if necessary help guide the thread with finger to assure an even filling of the bobbin.
"I'm feeling myself and that's really all that matters." FACTS!!!
You are adorable! Also you have clear instructions! Thank you...
I love how you also give the intro to setting up your sewing machine; your redo's on your clothes are very valuable--THANKS!!!

Omg everyday uploading!!!
Once you put the bobbin thing in the accessory thing, what do you do with the left over string?
Pull it behind the needle and cut excess. Leave about two inches so you don't pull the needle thread out while you're sewing.
New subbie!!! 🥳🥳🥳
