Thanks for video I was hunting the same area last week and was lucky enough to get a nice ram. I even got a flat tire going up the hill on moore ridge where you broke your side by side
I've been lucky enough to call NM my home my whole life. I've been around the world in the Army, and there still is absolutely nothing that compares to the beauty of our back country. Thank you for doing it justice!
It's definitely beautiful country! I have a friend who's a guide out of Chama New Mexico, he actually just got back home yesterday from hunting with me here in South Texas.
Thank you very much! This hunt was several years ago, but I didn't upload it because I wasn't sure how people would like it . I finally decided to post it because it was such a great experience, and great hunt doesn't revolve around filling a tag. That's always the goal, but sometimes it just happens that way.
Big country! I live up in Farmington and have been heading down there the last 2 years hunting Barbary! Keep coming back with tag soup:) but i enjoy the country and my partner i go with so will be back down there again:) My buddy been fast enough on the trigger he killed a young ram and a ewe! Like you said its not always about the horn
Have you ever tried it? I wish I could tell you how many I've processed over the past 20 years or so. I always grind the meat, we call it "ramburger." Lol

What a magnificent place, video was worth it for that alone. Shows the reality of real hunting, well done

Auwsome bud!!!
Thanks!
That looks like unit 34.
I honestly don't remember, but from what I saw I believe you. Lol
Glad to see the reality of hunting on the front range. The country is wicked and the sheep are elusive!
Absolutely, I couldn't agree more. It's beautiful and worth all the effort even if you don't fill a tag.
It is 34. Y'all were at Goblers knob. There aren't hardly any sheep left.
After that trip I believe it lol. It was an awesome experience though, no regrets!
First person I’ve ever heard say barbaries are “good eatin.”
