Just did this ride yesterday impulsively with no planning. Longest ride I've ever done including the commute to and from the southern end. VERY tiring but very rewarding and fun.
This North Branch Trail virtual ride is probably the best I've seen yet. I watch these on my stationary Fufi wearing an Oculus VR headset. The only thing better is to actually go there. All of your videos are the way to visit trails before booking hotel rooms in the Chicago area. I plan on viewing all your videos before it turns warm and start making plans to visit Chicago this spring. Thanks so much for your contributions.
That's awesome to hear. I love what you're doing with you Oculus. This is exactly what I hoped people would use these videos for. Stay tuned... more videos coming this season
Great Vid!! Actually Years ago I used to take this path more than 20 times to Botanic Gardens from my old work @ Buffalo Grove. Now I go throughout Evanston, E Sheridan ,Wilmette, Tower Road =Glencoe, to LakeCook. Chicago, has done Great Work maintain their BikePaths.
@@thomaslwellington3676 I'm assuming this route corresponds to the map posted by the Forest Preserve as a PDF at - fpdcc.com/downloads/maps/trails/english/FPCC-North-Branch-Trail-Map-022020.pdf
