It has to be because NYC is still really densely populated. If cars is main transportation then you have like 1+ hour traffic for like 30 min drive or no spaces for extra cars.
I feel like your avg is on the low side of the avg ha. I would say most people I bet are 80-85. I think my avg for a long ride hover from 85-91 typically. Especially in a group.
Love the videos. Could you maybe angle the camera so the horizon is lower? It is much more interesting watching the buildings and people rather than pavement. Thanks!
In US, isn't it compulsory for cyclists to stop at red lights? OR if you are in a bike lane you can if no cars are coming? I was quite surprised. Anyway, great ride, I enjoyed it. 😊
