Feel Better Painting - watercolor tree branches

- Feeling angry or just meh? This painting was made to channel those feelings, plus it might make you feel better!
I mean worst case scenario you also get to dramatically crumpled it up to take out some frustration. Art helps me in so many ways and it's hard to stay in a funk after focusing on something I love doing. Extra bonus points of you really play up your feelings sometimes it can turn into fun silliness instead!
In this video I painted in my Big Ideas sketchbook that's available on my website, with my Unicorn Food Watercolors, and a size 1, 4, & 6 quill brush.
Great exercise for mixing colors and learning how to make tree branches and just letting go of anything that might be bothering one….❤

This is the perfect thing for me to do today. I suspect. The tire exploded and threw off my plan/ schedule for today
Oof, that sounds terrible. Hopefully you weren't in the middle of the highway when it happened and that everything is relatively okay and you are safe.
Can I ask what size brushes you are using? I really like the effect they give. I tried several times to buy them but in the end didn’t because I was uncertain about the size. I know they are round, beyond that I’m lost. Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated. I’ve learned a lot from you so thank you for all your time and your willingness to teach and share your skills.
I’m actually using my size 1, 4, & 6 quill brushes I had developed for my shop. You could do this with round brushes too (a 12 round is usually a good middle size), but quill brushes hold a little more water and can help give you less control.
