I just flew delta Atlanta-Honolulu (9 hours 15 mins) and Honolulu-Minneapolis (7 hours 10 minutes) both ways in a 330 in economy. Got emergency exit seats for free at the gate in both flights and we had a full meal service with entree small salad and dessert in both flights, snack at the end (small pizza and in the other flight an egg sausage English muffin) and unlimited alcoholic and non alcoholic snacks during the flight. They had blankets, headphones and small kits with eyeshades and earplugs for everyone. It was such a nice experience, and I’m happy I booked delta instead of American
And it was 300 usd round trip from and to Houston
it was economy what do you expect. If you want food than pay the money and fly first class
your right delta from atlanta to honoloulu for economy offers lunch and a lght meal as well as snakcs and drinks
@@jacobfucci9291 I'm not complaining at all! It's a compliment instead
I enjoyed the video. As far as meal service that sandwich 🥪 would be great for a 3 hour flight for example DFW to LAX. And what a mess for missing your next flight. At least you managed to get things worked out 😎😎
I have a question:
I know some airlines have snacks available at the back of the galley so snacks weren't available on that flight?
It’s common knowledge that no US carrier has had anything other than a very light food offering to Hawaii in economy for many years. I’m flying AA on the 787-9 nonstop from DFW to OGG in April. They’re not my favorite but they had the best schedule and equipment.
Delta offers the same service as international flights from Domestics departing from non-west coast cities to Hawaii
You are wrong. Hawaiian airlines has been an only US airlines which always serve full meals while other US carriers serve drink and snack. Finally other carriers started serving foods.
Actually I think its depends on the flight duration whether to serve two meals on the plane…anything over 8-9 hour flight they are required to serve 2 meals. My uncle is a FA and told me that one time. But thanks for the review, heard a lot of negative with American Airlines…Trying my best to do Delta but the prices are insane.
My last 1st class flight from DFW to OGG on “ aa” ( lowercase on purpose) was extremely disappointing, Inattentive cabin crew with shoddy service . This was followed up by a truly dismal ( premium economy) “aa” flight to Switzerland 6 months later. Gone are the days when I loved flying American . Trust me when I say their are better options , for a similar price point.
Connecting through DFW is a nightmare . The last time I connected from Orlando going to Kahului via Dallas. Plane arrived on time but we had to wait for a gate to open up. I had to run two terminals to get to my gate . It was exhausting .
Nice trip report. I am actually surprised AA offered a meal. lol
hello sorry the service wasnt good andthe seat cramped thjats why i love the aisle seat
I actually wouldn’t mind the limited meal service. I have had great experience with Americans snack and beverage menu. I am wondering, why can’t you make a review of a flight without a window seat?
We were supposed to take that route on that plane in May 2020 but it got canceled due to covid.
Lovely thanks for sharing, I hope u make your connection flight?
I remembered this different old American airlines to Dallas 2013 2014
I just flew HNL-IAH with United 777-200, so essentially just like what you did. We got a full meal tray with a tofu pasta salad, fresh fruit, a roll, and chocolate hawaiian nuts. Much better than AA
Get into the habit of taking snacks with you on a long flight that way you don't need to cry so much when you make a review video
Some people appreciated the information. Others feel the need to cry that someone made this video.
It’s better to bring attention to the airlines so they start giving us decent amount of food
Thank you for this great video !
I just flew American from LAX to Honolulu. The flights took about 6 hours. All we got was some pretzels. Delta is much better. Going back we got a hot meal. And a round of nice snacks. American is cheap
AA flight 102. My favorite red eye flight in first class. 😍
Excellent 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🥂🥂🥂🥂🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Sorry, you paid $152.10 for this flight and you're complaining about the food? Give me a break, you're lucky you got anything.
I was able to pay $150 cause of some travel hacks, most people on this flight spent well over $500 🤷♂️
Hello@@GlobalAviationTravel
Wow, only three cents per mile. Excellent deal. You couldn't drive it for that price...
man they basically starved yall on that flight. wow.
Only one hour layover? Not very bright.
Sometimes you don’t have an option
@@GlobalAviationTravel What crap. You always have options. You just tried to squeeze too much ketsup into the sandwich and it leaked all over your white pants. Who or what is at fault? The ketchup? The pants? Or, you for your bad choices and taking too many chances. Once in a while, you guess wrong and get burned for it. Stand up tall and admit your error. I hope your customers get better service from you or do you always blame the carrier or someone else?
@@GlobalAviationTravelit can also be like 30min layover?
Yes it could be worse, you could be swimming to Hawaii.😆
