@@jaaaaannnnee I was planning on transcribing as well, but they don't give measurements unfortunately. A bit of a bummer as I would love to make those this year for Thanksgiving. They look delicious.
I wonder if Chris and Brad ever looked around, thought of the wonderful 2019 Thanksgiving special they filmed at Claire’s parents’ house and think “well…”
He used to act like he was scared to get fired. Now he's in there with the perma-stained sweater. Honestly, I'd love to see a Brad channel, but oh wells.
Kendra's stuffing is just about an exact rendition of Alison Roman's sourdough stuffing. I've been making her stuffing (with lots of leeks instead of onions) for the past 3 Thanksgivings, for family and potlucks. I am always the stuffing-maker, and there's a reason for it: The recipe is insanely good! I also make my own sourdough for it, but that's a different story. I add the sausage and also some halved crimini mushrooms usually. I also make it for Christmas, but with beef broth and rosemary. I suggest it go on your dinner table!
Rachel’s Brussels sprouts looked perfect, and I loved the tips she offered. It genuinely looks like she makes these and enjoys them. Gotta try em this year.
I made both the burnished potatoes and the turmeric-ginger brussels sprouts and both dishes are fantastic. I roasted a chicken stuffed with a halved head of garlic, a halved lemon, and fresh thyme to go with, and made a lovely oniony gravy with the drippings. A glass of Pinot Nour and I'm a happy girl. Chris and BA can call these poratoes whatever they want. Frankly, I like "burnished," because that's exactly how they look when they're finished. Whatever they're called, they're heavenly. Ditto for the sumptuous brussels sprouts. (I hope the word "sumptuous" doesn't send anyone into a tailspin.) Brava/bravo, BA!
Making her stuffing for Thanksgiving and can't wait. Wonder if hot sausage would be good to give it a bit more heat. I had been using an old Rachel Ray recipe for stuffing and while it's good wanna try something different.
My New England family always had pickled watermelon rind, peas and creamed onions, prune pudding, and steamed pudding. No marshmallows, brussel sprouts, green bean casserole, or ham.
Im curious about the crunchiness though, thats the only thing Im not fond of for roast potatoes is that it's all just one soft texture with maybe some chew on the outside in that initial bite.
@@Toidal Americans don’t know how to make roast potatoes if that’s what you’re eating. If you want real roast potatoes watch Jamie Oliver or Heston blumenthals RUclips videos. I love Kendra's thought that this is an easy, make ahead recipe... even if I disagree, as I'm always a day ahead on so many other TG dishes. But the thought has merit and, though I'm not into big bread pieces in my stuffing, I'm gonna try this after TG - with smaller bread - as a main dish! Well done, all!
Here me out , these all look DELISH but the struggle of oven space/timing is real with thanksgiving. Need more dishes that can be room temp or not baked because I feel like everything needs the oven but there’s a Turkey in there
A giant electric roaster is essential for the turkey. And I've reheated made-ahead mashed potatoes in a crockpot. Totally get what you're saying though!
Shilpa's recommendation if you lose your patience and dunk it all in there is me everyday. haha... just do that... THEN dip the roll on the remaining sauce on the pan. i can see it there
Made a spin off of Brad's for friendsgiving this week and it was bomb. I had to majorly simplify it just roasted dices sweet potatoes and a topping of pecan maple and cardamom. SO GOOD. everyone loved it
The way that Kendra stared down the camera so intensely, then pivoted to "just kidding" real quick sounds like me when I'm coping and I feel uncomfy how much that one moment reasonated with me
Shilpa was so proud of her rolls, it was cute lol
Yeah! No where’s the recipe?
So cute.
Her "life's purpose"
@@mattwilson5383 seriously!!! I thought I was going to make this for thanksgiving… I guess not

I'm so impressed every time Shilpa presents. She's so professional and technical but always delivers the information in such an approachable way.

This was the first video that everyone genuinely seemed excited to eat their own food. Everything looked awesome!
I love this series! Please do one for christmas cookies!!!!!
That's a really good idea
your wish came true! =D
Brad playing hot potato with himself is exactly the Brad behavior I came here for
honestly the only part I watched. :'D

Nothing beats Making Perfect:Thanksgiving at Claire’s parents house on the Cape. In the Summer. With the OG gang.
I'm not even going to wait for Thanksgiving to make Kendra's stuffing, looks so so good.
Right?!? I want to practice before the big day, too. Happy Thanksgiving!
@@hummingbird3771 Yes exactly, also thank you and same to you :)
I use BA's Onion cheese and sour cream biscuits for Thanksgiving for 2 years now, I love it!

Brad on the defense of using 'salted' butter 🧈 ....arms out like "that's right all you unsalted-butter-zealots" haha!
Shilpa's dinner rolls! I'm excited because I only recently started using the Tangzhong method. It works brilliantly!
Shilpa! You taught me something new!!
I never thought to stay bread with a roux... and it makes perfect sense. Neato!!!
Those dill rolls look perfect! They would be amazing on Christmas since they look like a wreath.
Omg make them in a bundt pan and would be a wreath!! So cute
It would be great if all of the chefs tasted each others dishes.
Yes! The new chefs have really grown on me and I wish they would pair them up so they could react to each other's dishes.
They probably film days apart sometimes

I love how Chris is so exact!
I really love Brad's energy and enthusiasm... and the recipe sounds SO nom.
Oh baby these all sound amazing it's going to be so hard to choose just one.. but I think I'll go with the brussel sprouts
My New England family always had pickled watermelon rind, peas and creamed onions, prune pudding, and steamed pudding.
No marshmallows, brussel sprouts, green bean casserole, or ham.
Kendra's dish and her performance is the best in this video, in my humble opinion
"burnished potato nuggets" please, that's roast potatoes
I think Chris worked in a restaurant before lol
It's hilarious because he even says 'English roast potatoes' at the end

Noms. Saving this. And MORE KENDRA!
Shilpa knows. She's definitely invited to the table and the cookout.
the Brussell's sprouts look great. We roast ours and put pomegranate molasses and toasted walnuts on them. Pomegrate seeds for garnish. YUM.
Sure would love the recipe for the garlic rolls. Where linky?
Rachel may have just shown me a way of making sprouts de Brussels that my family... mostly... might ever try!
Wow, we got through a whole video without hearing the word vegetal. It's a Thanksgiving miracle!
My three favorite Thanksguvin' potato dishes:
Smashed potatoes
Potato fondant
Potato gratin
Potato mash
no but the brussels sprouts look absolutely INSANE.
Tried Chris’s roast potato method and boy once you try, you never go back. It does take longer but worth the effort
Brad is always spot on, but the stuffing chick is made for TV and is just delightful.

I just learned about potatoes and eczema. They so go together
Thanks so much for the ideas. Happy thanksgiving y'all!
Definitely making Rachel’s brussels sprouts! 😋🥰. Is Brad working on his car engine before making the sweet potatoes?

Gordon Ramsay advocates for resting the turkey for as long as it's baked (or at least a couple hours). :)
Spatchcock your turkey and it'll cook in half the time!
@@laurengray2064 yes, 100% but there still like 3-4 dishes plus others who bring theirs that all need to be warm at the same time!

We rest the turkey for 30-40 minutes and that frees up the oven for reheating the sides.
Does anyone have a recipe for those garlic dill rolls?
Great, I have a crush on Chris Morocco now
Watching Chris smash a whole clove of garlic with his hand was one of the best parts of this video
