- The installation tutorials will continue with the new front view camera especially created for the new Dacia Duster - 2018 by the Falcon Electronics.
This is a HD front grill camera with 180 degree horizontal angle.
There are three working modes:
- Normal front view
- Split view: which provides the maximum lateral angle.
- Top view: for accurate view of the objects from the ground placed in front of the car.

I've Just installed It on my Duster 2018. Works fine.
The only trouble Is the cable from camera to the medianav. It's very hard to find the right path once you have broken the stopper.
I preferred not to mount the switch near the mirror regulator. I've installed It inside the Little glove near the hand brake.

The latest installation manual (04/10/2018) specify to install that switch on the ornament near cigarette lighter ( page 16 or 20):

Hope there will be a real 360 camera when parking that compile all images from 4 camera in one view :-D
Thank you for your appreciation. There were a 360 degree camera (designed in the way you described) project for this car, but for commercial reasons do not got thru. Maybe in the future.

Do you know if this installation could be done and works on a stepway lodgy from 2021 with medianav ?
Have you heard anything about such adaptation ? Is there any particularity on Dacia Duster from 2018 if it is the onlyone model it could be installed into it ?
What should we pay attention to!? How do I know if the Medianav is the same as the 2018 Duster!?

The MediaNav is just the same. Only problems will be with the camera bracket, which will not fit and the camera angle/ installation height, which is different.
Will there be any obstacles to install it in a Sandero 2019? The Medianav is the same and it already have the back camera. I know the bracket is not the same but I can 3D-print one that fit 😊

Like I've told you via email, I will post my answer here too, for whom may be interested by this kind of installation to read it.
In theory it is no technical obstacle to install it - if you have the bracket and MediaNav it is the same - only:
- You could have blind zones due to different camera position;
- You could have zones masked by the bumper or other obstacles that may be in the line of sight;
- Image geometry could be all wrong. The camera installation height and inclination it is different between those two cars. The image it is corrected for Duster installation specifications.
- Last but not least - please read this very carefully:
There will be NO WARRANTY for the front camera - for obvious reasons.
Also you may lose at least your MediaNav warranty in case you do something wrong, or something in your car is different.

Se poate monta si pe un logan mcv 2018?Eu am camera doar pe marsalier.
Hello, nu stiu cum de mi-a scapat mesajul tau, scuze.
Din pacate nu se poate monta pe Logan. Ii lipsesc suportii din grila, are alta inaltime fata de sol si o inclinare diferita cu cinci grade in orice directie ii strica perspectiva si corectiile.

Daca optezi sa cumperi masina cu camera montata din fabrica, tot cu acel buton micut vine?
Nu. Nu exista optiune la Duster de fabrica numai cu o camera frontala. Masina se poate comanda doar cu sistemul de patru camere. Acesta are un buton separat pe consola centrala similar cu cel de avarii.
Can I install this to my renault clio 4 2018? What is the price for this whole kit?
Unfortunately there is a dedicated front camera system for the new Duster.
I will not fit on Clio 4.
@Ovidiu Cuiesdean - I'm planing to add those camera to my Duster 2020. I got manual and at last page is info that I'm need to use CLIP146 software for finaly confoguration. Is it truth ? Because there is no info about that in your movie. Thanks in advance for reply.
Yes, you need to activate the video input on your MediaNAV unit. This operation can be made on any Dacia service/ dealer. Is a 10 minutes procedure.

No, will not. Even if the MediaNAV is the same, the camera bracket will not fit.

Salut. Din pacate nu se poate instala pe Logan. Suportul de prindere nu se potriveste si imaginea este corectata pentru inclinarea si inaltimea grilei de Duster.
As vrea si eu asa ceva. Momentan, am din fabrica doar camera pe spate. Ne putem auzi la telefon ? Multumesc !

@@OvidiuCuiesdean Multumesc, foarte bine realizat materialul video. Ma voi duce la reperezentanta, dar mi-e greu sa cred ca voi reusi ceva.. Mi se par asa..mai conservatori sau mai slabi pregatiti sa monteze altceva pe masini decat au venit ele din fabrica... Si nici nu am prea mare incredere !
