- Unfortunately it is not unusual to fail a driving test. If this happens to you the most important thing to do is keep practicing, and fix your faults before trying again. In this video we will show how to avoid making the 10 most common mistakes that cause drivers to fail their test. We All make mistakes!!.. I felt so stupid failing my test, but I kept going until I passed! .. take extra lessons and practice! .. you will get there!😀
Emphasis on not to get frustrated if the parking manoeuvre doesn’t go well first time! On my test, I had my reverse bay parking manoeuvre at the very beginning (in the tiniest carpark and I hadn’t practiced in this particular carpark before!) I messed it up the first time, but calmed down and got it in the second go (didn’t even need to make any adjustments) - the key is not to panic!

Another way to approach this problem is that you have not yet joined the moving traffic at all. Drivers who are already in the moving traffic will therefore drive around you as though you are parked. Nobody in their right mind will force you to pull away unless they also want to park in your space, so there is no need to rush.
I have just come across the video and I am in tears as I have failed today for the 3rd time.

i sit my second driving test next Tuesday failed my first for not checking my blind spots before pulling away from an emergency stop had my last driving lesson today it wasn't as good as previous lessons and its kind of giving me doubts about my second test Tuesday and if i am actually ready i know each day is different when your on the road driving but it has knocked my confidence

Why is it that when waiting patiently for a safe gap at junctions and roundabouts, you get marked down for hesitation even when you don't cause any danger??.
Just failed my test because of this...so annoying.
Knowing when to go is a skill that needs to be practiced. It’s OK to wait as long as necessary, so long as we take a safe gap when it appears. Waiting longer than necessary will delay following vehicles and cause frustration, so should be avoided. These videos might help:

I had one question. I have habit of one hand drive. i.e. one hand on steering wheel and other on gear handle. But then I want to take a long right or left turn, I keep both hands on my steering wheel. Will that cause problem in my driving test?. Please help.
As long as it doesn’t affect your control over the car it shouldn’t be a problem. 👍🏼

Do you get any points on licence or you get fine ?
Apart from the danger of causing an accident, if you get caught doing that you are very likely to be prosecuted. There is no excuse for passing a red traffic light, so pay attention!

Hi i have one doubt if engines gets off does the brake work.if not in case off what we have do
If your engine fails you still have enough reserve power in your brakes to stop normally once. After that the servo assistance will be gone and the brakes will need to be pushed much harder to work. If you ever need to be towed you will notice this problem!

There is no magic answer - you must be alert and concentrate so your driving is as good as it can be. Keep practicing!

My son failed today on undertaking. His instructor said he doesn't need extra lessons and to rebook surely this can't be right ?

@@AdvanceDrivingSchool I’ve rebooked for 19th, I taken what I did wrong and learning from it. Also your videos are such a massive help. I know a lot about the car park one way exit and the big roundabout near sugar factory. I had to go past them on my test and I kept thinking on the videos I watched of yours and what you say, thank you so much for these videos. Your both so awesome 😊
