    Best bump steer how to video I have ever seen, I am a circle track weekend racer and its hard to train your help when you have to work for a living and time at the shop is limited, this video helped explain to my buddies, who help me work on my racer, things that I just could not, and all I had to do is send them the link. Great job, great video, and thank you for posting it.

    Audio levels are peaking a bit. Might want to make sure your sound guy is monitoring levels when you record. Super informative video tho!

    How well does your kit help with bad offset wheels? meaning how much improvement on such a set up?

    • @ShockTherapyllc
      @ShockTherapyllc  3 года назад +1

      Nothing fixes a bad offset wheel. That steering feedback and parts wear will always be there until the offset is changed.

    How to Find/Fix Bump Steer, don't buy a Can Am or Polaris. #SpeedUTV

    Great video, but come on Justin! The Turbo S has 4 inches of bumpsteer and you have to clarify it’s not their fault? YES! It’s their Fault! Saying it’s because it’s mass-produced is why they have allot of bumpsteer is just BS and trying to be nice to Polaris. Let’s see what Can Am has? I’m betting it’s more then 4 inches too!
    Just call it out! These MFG have no idea on proper geometry and the huge track width and bumpsteer numbers show it. They are about producing big wheel travel numbers, that’s what sells cars, not proper handling or geometry. Like you said they hide and mask the problem with a good power steering unit that hides the feedback.

      Todd. Normally I’m with you and I’ll call it out. The reason I didn’t is because not all turbo S we checked have this much bump. One or two actually had under an inch. The can am are the same. 4” on one 2” on another. I can only chalk this up to production issues like rack locations. Higher in one chassis and lower in another. This is what we found on the can am. For this reason our new tie rod kits will have adjustability so you can tune the bump out no matter how much your UTV has. Your right, it is their fault. But I don’t think it’s a design issue with bump. It’s production. Scrub and track width issues are design. 👍👍

      Sounds like it’s still their fault quality control is in the hands of the producer now if you’re looking at something that’s been on the road for years and through a couple owners and everything is out of alignment that’s another story but if you’re taking them off the showroom floor they should be set up properly
