There's a really good MapleStory private server called MapleRoyals. It's v62 but has PQs and an 4x EXP 4x Mesos and 2x Drop rate. It's really fun, you should try it out :)

Everybody's early playing style (if you were no magician, bowman, nor thief) alt + control! alt + control! alt + control! Jump + Attack! Jump + Attack! Jump + Attack! Or you could just use spear and hope for the up-to-bottom slash to hit monsters
Hahaha I still remember myself as a newb climbing ropes saying something like: ''I'll keep going up and up, I want to see the strongest monsters of this map!''
tfw green mushrooms, that looked smaller than the orange mushrooms, were stronger and had a higher avoidance so my poor warrior kept missing his power strikes.
If you’re a GMS player you have to remember that it’s was KMS who took away Pre-Big Bang Maple. I don’t think they ever looked at or cared how people on GMS felt about the game world or its spots. They just followed the trends of Korean MMOs without realizing they had actually made something the rest of the world knew was special.
I still remember the field where I used to shoot arrows the side of the land with other gamers. I can deliver damage to monsters with no return as counter attack.
Ah man the most nostalgic map with the most derpy music. Godly place where the best of the best would meet to show off to the low level people that were massively hunting all the mobs together. Nostalgia is an asshole :(

Spam potions while climbing up the rope to sit at the top of the first map.
Nothing better, still remember spamming Magic Claw for hours, every kill hoping to see a Panlid pop out of one of those damn mushrooms.

It’s always the high level mages or the warriors that show up here, with their whole map aoe. You hardly see the other high level classes here
