I love Chiikawa, I'm surprised it hasn't really caught on overseas at all. The characters are adorable and the anime is SO funny and relatable. I was in Japan during the Magical Chiikawa merchandise sales and I applied so many times to get a ticket just to enter the store... it was impossible, I didn't get one and there were people waiting outside for over an hour in advance for their chance to go inside!
I'm also surprised Chiikawa hasn't caught on in the western market, everything is just so darn cute! Hopefully this video will help spread the Chiikawa message! Too bad you weren't able to get a magical Chiikawa, we also really wanted one but came a little while after they released, so everything was already gone. By the sounds of it though, we wouldn't have had much of a chance even if we were there at the right time! 😅 I knew magical Chiikawa was super popular, but didn't realize just how impossible it would be to get one. Thanks for sharing! 😄
@@TimThoughts I really liked your video, you understood Chiikawa's appeal well and the video is really informative :D If you like the Magical Chiikawa design, they made a big version as a UFO catcher plush. It's cheaper than the small limited mascot keychain version and bigger too, I got the Chiikawa one online, I recommend it!

Chiikawa is so cute and charming and I really enjoy those little cartoons of him, and I gotta say when jaiden animations got so obsessed with him when she went japan last year it felt like he was just another cute manga character like hello kitty or whatever, but now he is just poppin off and I respect that
I was on a trip to Japan when met chiikawa and I brought home everything I could related to chiikawa. The silliness, the struggles and sometimes easy going of this cute little thing makes me smile tbh.
My boyfriend and I could go to a Chiikawa official Nagano pop up store with plenty of limited Chiikawa merchandising when we visited Seoul last month. We were really excited! We have known these cute characters when we visited Osaka last year and fell in love! We will travel to Tokyo next April and hope to find stores with plenty of chiikawa products ❤❤ Maybe Kiddy Land.
