Totally valid to have knives on the list that weren't launched in 2024. Of my 5 favorite knives currently, only 1 is from 2024. I'm not a steel snob and there are not many new knives that beat older knives in normal usage. Unlike watches which I also dabble in, knives are tools and you will most likely never want to sell them to purchase a new one, so brand and reputation are not important. BTW: for me, both the Ruike P801 and Ganzo G768PT are better than the Pyrite lite at under $30. My favorite beaters are the Ruike P135 and Land 910, the Sanrenmu 9001 when I am out and think I need something "tactical". When I am in the woods and want a burly folder, I take my Real Steel H7.
Hey man. Thanks for sharing these. I had to go and look all of these up. Good choices here. I love learning about these new budget knives. And I just added that Land 910 to my Christmas list! 😊
Bryan Winters KILLED it this year!!! He had FIVE revolutionary releases in 2024! And absolutely the Factor B3 is at the top of the list! Personally, I know without a shadow of a doubt that Winterblade WON 2024, and Knife of the Year, but I’m still having trouble deciding exactly which knife will sit in the tippity-top spot. Bryan’s definitely got the crown, but I find myself going back and forth trying to decide exactly where to place his throne.. So to speak.. or more of which of those FIVE epic models will take the throne. Tough choices.. but I think in your situation, you made the correct decision! And I can’t wait for all the videos, just like this one, that will validate my predictions of Winterblade being KOTY 2024! But which Winterblade will it be!? Which one will be the number 1 hit for Winterblade and seal 2024 as a great year for all of us Winterblade fanatics and for Bryan?! Cannot wait to find out! But this is a great start to a sweeping consensus! Congratulations Bryan Winters and Winterblade! Absolutely, well deserved! Well done!
I picked up the Shark Cub last week and it might become my new work knife for the office - the handle ergos are great which ends up being the thing when I'm processing supply boxes.
Great video. The Pyrite Light, fake Sage 5 and OK-223CF are my favorites. Your #1 looks incredible. Of your list, I think I'd agree with your #1, Pyrite Light, and fake Sage 5 in that order.
First rule, when ordering a spyderco, order a new deep pocket clip with it…LOL. Yeah, the winter blade is kinda a no brainer, but it costs like 10 times the other there… (which keeps me from getting one) have a great holiday season.
Yeah, the Factor knife isn't really fair in that list. I actually did just get a replacement Spyderco clip from AliExp and the screws are a different size & won't work on this replica knife! 😂 🤷♂️
@@BladesOnABudgetjust reuse the screws, that’s what I do.. you may have to use the dremel to make the holes on the new clip a little bigger. I always seem to have to do that. And yes if you buy a clip with screws they never fit!
You might check out the bar lock moyarl. I found the regular a little blocky. The bar lock version, the scales are contoured a little better. It turns a great knife to an awesome one. With the sage copy, those scales are kinda mushy. If you can handle the color, the ultem version or the clear acrylic version feel a bit more stout. I also have the TI one and it's awesome, it has some gravity tho.
Thanks man. I was wondering about that new Moyarl. Glad to hear you like it. I do like ultem & acrylic, but a Ti Sage 5 sounds like it could be a big winner! Thanks! 👍
I wouldn't change the order of those particular knives , other than to eliminate the fixed blade and replace it with the Hytron Hotknives Sharplyn , my personal favorite budget knife of 2024 , at number two. My absolute favorite knives that I acquired in '24 were the Kunwu Django XL cf/dlc , and the Manganas Steel Caimano, my personal dream knife, made a reality by Sharif Manganas. Honorable mention to the Kansept Fenrir, my only front flipper , which I completely ignore , for its awesome thumb stud action . Man does not live by budget knives alone , but yeah , mostly ...
Those are good choices man. You're the 2nd person to mention that Hytron. I'm going to have to check that out. 14c28n & CF for $54 is a good deal. Thanks!
Great vid. I have the first one, the exact same color of the second one. The replica o f the fifth. Micarta version of numero 6. Please SPELL the name and model of number 7!
Hey Carlos. Yes, I think OKK is a good choice. They don't actually make any knives, but they tend to sell some of the better quality versions that are out there. And they've been good about their support and have replaced a couple of knives that I got from them that had problems. I've been happy with the so far. Hope you enjoy it! 👍
A top ten of counterfeits... So sad to advertise literal theft it's not good bro. It's your money but what you want but advertising blatant IP theft is not cool.
Why get a replica of the shark cub when the actual knife isn’t expensive? At $150, you’re getting way more than you get with the replica stuff. I’ll personally NEVER buy a clone. It’s literally intellectual theft.
The replicas in this list came from either Temu or OK Knives. But there are some good sellers on AliExpress too. I haven't bought any from DHGate yet, but a lot of people have & seem to think that they're all basically the same as what you get from Temu & AliExp.

The Sage5 Lightweight is my favorite knife from your collection presented here. Nice 2024 collection of knives.
Thanks man 👍

I agree. The Shark Cub ergos are very good.

Thanks man. I've got that OK-223 on order. I expect that will make the top of the list for 2025! 👍

Can’t wait the get the large pyrite light
Yeah, I've been wondering about that one too. Let me know what you think about it when you get it.

where can i buy any of these clone knives?
About half of these came from Temu & half from OK Knives. But OKK is the easiest to find what you want & tends to have the better quality versions.
Winterblade factor 8ight is all 10 spots. I want it so bad.
LOL. It is an awesome knife. But I still love carrying many of the others too. 👍
Winterblade, Para 2,rt bee
Good choices!

#7 (from left to right) is a Spyderco Para 3 replica. #7 (from right to left) is the Miguron Moyarl.
I’m looking into getting my first replica, I’m use okknives… do you think they do good work with the spyderco bodacious?

@ thanks a ton

Why not it only cost 30?
Can't condone replicas.
I love your kind of list lol! I totally been into these "replicas" lately. I appreciate ya! 🫡🙏
😂 Thanks!
Where do you get the reps from
@EDCBraden ok knives, Ali express, or DHgate
