juan ponce enrile is not exactly a saint as he candidly admitted his past mistakes. we knew of his identification with marcos before and after martial law, the arrogance he displayed in villifying critics of that regime. but history is not just about condemnation but of repeated forgiveness and the chance of redeeming one's self from past transgressions as enrile has proved himself today. this is what christianity is all about, forgiveness and new beginnings..

Kahit ano pang issue nakasangkutan ni Enrile. There's no denying, he is the only living Filipino who can tell the history of the Philippine politics especially before nd after Martial Law, as he witnessed it first hand.

Compare his biography with tibo mijares' conjugal dictatorship. Both of them were like satan who had free acccess in heaven, they could roam around the palace anytime without impediment. Atm i am reading tibo's book while JPE's memoir will be arriving tomorrow thru lazada. I think if we want to know the truth, we should read manuscripts written by people who were once part of the so called inner circle of the marcoses. The books of these two gentlenen are good to read as you start your journey in finding the truth.

History will judge JPE kung sino sya talaga. Ang matalinong arkitek ng martial law na marami napahirapan , nawala at namatay nuon. Buti ngayon sarap buhay ni JPE.
