I knew JPE when I (was 6 yrs. old ) and my mom went to manila attending a court hearing but what I remembered most that he asked his wife to take my Mom to the hospital since she almost delivers her third child in the court room and even paid the entire hospital bill. He even shouldered our fare going home to Lapu-Lapu So, I'm very thankful to him and his wife.

Dedicated to Sen. Enrile. MY WAY And now the end is near And so I face that final curtain My friend I'll make it clear I'll state my case, of which I'm certain I've lived a life that's full I traveled each and every highway And more, much more I did it, I did it my way Regrets, I've had a few But then again too few to mention I did what I had to do I saw it through without exemption I planned each charted course Each careful step along the byway And more, much, much more I did it, I did it my way Yes, there were times I'm sure you knew When I bit off more than I could chew But through it all, when there was doubt I ate it up and spit it out I faced it all and I stood tall and did it my way For what is a man, what has he got? If not himself then he has naught Not to say the things that he truly feels And not the words of someone who kneels Let the record shows I took all the blows and did it my way

It's good to hear straight from mouth of our elders to look back on what we missed in the past. I enjoyed hearing stories of our lolo's and lola's.
Nakaka bilib c Sen.Enrile sa edad na 99 lahat naaalala pa niya 😍
He lives to tell the history
The Legend, JPE, THE ONE AND ONLY. GOD BLESS YOU.
Great interview. I love Korina giving him the space to answer and tell long stories. I also love Enrile’s stories about the Japanese period and the old days. He is still very sharp, he is such a legend
Wow...amazing to see/hear Sir Enrile . Long live sir!

MY WAY
And now the end is near
And so I face that final curtain
My friend I'll make it clear
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain
I've lived a life that's full
I traveled each and every highway
And more, much more
I did it, I did it my way
Regrets, I've had a few
But then again too few to mention
I did what I had to do
I saw it through without exemption
I planned each charted course
Each careful step along the byway
And more, much, much more
I did it, I did it my way
Yes, there were times I'm sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew
But through it all, when there was doubt
I ate it up and spit it out
I faced it all and I stood tall and did it my way
For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself then he has naught
Not to say the things that he truly feels
And not the words of someone who kneels
Let the record shows I took all the blows and did it my way
Ahaha

If you include his life inside her mother's womb, Enrile is technically 100 years old already. Because life starts in concepcion.
