@divinedianec3170 I have heard that happening. However, the stylist has to know what they are doing, and the client has to maintain the up keep as well.
I LOOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEEEE seeing women of African descent have long a** its soo satisfying to me. 😂❤❤❤❤ reminds me to keep my hair healthy so it’ll stay long and strong & reminds me of the women in my family.
Im not black but I loveee seeing these hair transformation i just love seeing someones hair being taken care of and brushed ❤ it makes me want to pamper myself too 💅
@@Orlanzepol123it definitely can be done but it gets tricky to keep the sew in nice and flat with all that hair. I have long thick hair and I stopped doing sew ins. It’s easier to hide my hair under wigs than sew ins lol
That's kind of a bad thing I have very long hair. I have close to 22 inches someone's Said.. I could not have a Bob that's not fair went to another Hairstylist.she was able To Do my hair the exact way I wanted it.
I think the statement "she didn't need a sew in" is he biggest issue people are having. Atleast for me anyway. Lol Plenty of people with long hair that choose to get weave or wear wigs for other reasons other than "needing it". The stylist can't be that ignorant. 😅 now had she said the client told her their hair doesn't get straight enough with a flat iron so they wanted to go the weave route to which she let her know about silk presses because she didn't know and so she offered that instead...then fine. But that's not what she said. Instead it sounded like she didn't gaf what her reasons for getting a sew it were and like a typical pushy stylist that didn't want to take the time it would have taken to braid all that hair then do the sew in...told her what she needed instead. I have a friend with hair as long as this client and for years when she travels somewhere she is swimming or just doesn't want to be bothered with her hair reverting, she will get a sew in. She knows she has hair as well. But ok...she went for it. Hope the stylist got what she needed out of this because the client might not have 😅
Stop projecting 🥴. She told her SHE couldn’t do it. Which was her being honest. It takes a lot of skill to be able to braid down that volume of hair AND produce a seamless sewin. No one wants a bulky sew in. It’s best that she was honest and was able to offer an alternative that she knew would produce great results. Nothing about this was pushy. If she didn’t want the press, she could have simply left🤷🏾♀️.
Her hair isn't too long for a sew-in..... There are people with sew-ins who have hair longer and same thickness as hers. Instead you decided the possibility of heat damage was a better option for your client. smh
She could cause damage attempting something on a client when she isn’t confident. Instead of letting money walk out the door she did something for her client that the client liked. And also silk presses are not damaging if you do them correctly & infrequently. There would be a “possibility” of damage if she didn’t know what she was doing or if the client had thin weak fragile hair. Neither appear to be the case so no need to worry.
@@highq9039 people with inexperience or lack of confidence should learn to let the money walk out the door instead of potentially causing more damage than would be. Especially because silk presses do not last as long as a sew in.
Your work is magnificent ✨ ✨ ✨ what advice would you give me about silk presses, especially about preventing it from sucking moisture from the air? Mine is midback length
There's so MANY BWomen with beautiful short and long hair. However, it annoys me that _BWomen with natural thick LONG 4a-c hair are never represented in mainstream hair commercials._ It's as if companies like L0real are suggesting they don't exist😒 or they can't find these BWomen anywhere who do have it, and I know that is a LIE!
@@justmetori4645 i have noticed that as well however if I’m just goin to curl it anyways i don’t think it really matters bc most times they just run the flat iron through it and it still gives the same results as the comb attachment to me
Respectfully🌻Maybe the weave she wanted was a curly or much shorter style?? It's not always a "need" since plenty women with healthy long hair (myself included) use sew-ins to avoid cutting or damaging their hair with color. I'd prefer to damage some weave than my own.

She didn't need a sew-in. I'm glad you were honest. The result look amazing. Kenya Moore better call her to be a model for her brand
I was just about to say
No one needs it. She probably grew her hair long like that with the sew ins

The fact that she even wanted a sew in with all of that beautiful natural hair is crazy
Some people get sew ins as a protective style or because they don’t want to bother with their natural hair for a while.
@@dwise2165 Many of those sew-ins and months of leave-in and has grown black women hair at waist length just like this lady in the video.

Her hair looks so beautiful and healthy ❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful natural hair
But a sew-in is a great way to prevent heat damage. Hopefully, she will go to a stylist who can do the sew-in if she wants that in the future.
If Beyonce can hide her thick and long hair under a sewn in then it can be done for this woman too.

Many women for many years have worn wigs and weaves with long natural hair. I have aunts with long hair who pop on a wig when company comes over. 🤣
I was thinking about this. The sewin would've lasted longer.
I agree, also a sew in would’ve lasted longer, which is what I’m assuming why she wanted one to begin with…

Wait who is the stylist?
Who give braid ALLLL that hair and then sew in hair on top of it? 🤣🤣🤣 I'm so happy you helped her to see otherwise, it's gorgeous 😍 💖
So much brushing to do just to make it look like that.
Sew in for what ? She is so lucky. What beautiful hair.

It actually gives your hair more bounce and body when you use a brush instead of the comb attachment. Or at least that’s what I’ve experienced myself
