Oh Ronda, please give radiation another thought. It gave my husband nearly 4 years extra relief in his cancer journey. And the Lord will hold your hand thru this next step too! Remember, cancer is tricky and sneaky and you have to trick it with new drugs! And you look great with no hair, so you can "rock" that look again. Cry all you want and remember: He gives strength to those who are tired and more power to those who are weak. Much Love from a wife sharing her husbands cancer journey.

I have a terrible time with nausea and have found this ginger syrup concoction that really helps. You have to make it from scratch and keep it in the fridge. Then mix 2 Tbsp in a glass of water. I get motion sick and I’m usually 2 days of steady nausea. I tried this stuff and it stopped in about half an hour. So for me that is huge and it is just food so no side effects. I hope I can type the recipe in here. In saucepan 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water, 2 -3 Tbsp fresh grated ginger root. Boil for 5 minutes. Strain. Place in glass jar and store in fridge. 2 tbsp syrup in glass of water helps with stomach upset and nausea. Good luck with the treatments. Positive vibes coming your way.

First of all, it is completely okay to cry. It is just your emotions bubbling out and that is healthy. Second, we have been told to look for miracles in our lives each day. I know you have had many and will continue to have them. I remember when I was going through bad Breast Cancer I was getting Mamm Magazine each month. One gal wrote that she is a writer and so looked at her cancer from that point of view. She said when you look at the whole book her cancer was considered only a brief chapter. Even if it happened toward the end of the book, it was just a chapter. You have a book full of beautiful chapters. And like you just said, in the eternal scheme of things its just a moment. So you are right on in your thinking. I know you are very loved and that will continue to give you the strength and courage you need to stay strong. You got this girl!

Ohhh Ronda, I have not been following you for very long, but I have followed long enough to recognize what a beautiful lady you are, inside And out!! You don't need make up, your beauty radiates, through your kindred spirit, positivity and in creating beautiful things. It's good to hear that your chemo extended your health before and possibly this new drug, will help out as well. God is almighty and may all the prayer warriors unite for God's miracle of healing over you. I admire your attitude around your situation and that will benefit your health, as worry is not from God, yet peace is!! Easier said than done, but you have appeared in videos, to be strong in faith and God's love shines through you, I trust he's using you as a testimony to him. Keep on shining, I'll keep on watching you shine!!

Oh Ronda! My heart is breaking for you! It’s perfectly fine that you cried WITH us. Because you know we’re all crying too. That just says that you mean so much to all of us! Yes, you’re usually happy and upbeat. But that’s not always real life. A few tears need to fall. I love your Dr. I’m loving that he’d fall down on his knees and beg you to keep fighting!! He can fight from that corner and we will all fight from this corner. ♥️🫶🏻🙏♥️ Heavenly Father will put his arms around you and He will give you the strength you need. Ronda, my heart goes out to you in your battle with this. I’m 2 years past using a new drug to fight a very aggressive and rare breast cancer. I had 5 months of chemo, 12 weeks of radiation, and a radical mastectomy (my 2nd) in between. I decided to fight as I had a new granddaughter on the way. So far, I’m cancer free. My eyelashes never grow back so I don’t wear much makeup. I have severe neuropathy. I get checked every three months but if cancer returns anywhere, I was told I’m not a candidate for any more chemo…I’m maxed out. Every day is a gift. I wouldn’t feel this way if I hadn’t had cancer. The fight is the worst part. You can do this💕

Girl! It has taken me hours to respond. I did a video, asked to send up prayers for you and am still reeling that you are having to struggle with this. We need you Ronda without an H in our lives. To lift us up, share your spirit, energy and love. Know there is an army behind you and I am one of them. My daughter Demi (16) said this recently when we were having some challenges. And it touched my soul, so I will leave you with words from my beautiful baby. “God is doing this because he knows we can get through it. He gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers. Hello, Ronda with no "H", this is Kathy with no "C". Your battle is my battle. We share that. I support ANYTHING you choose to do. Your soul is indestructible, the physical body eventually wears out like an old car. I understand your emotional roller coaster. You are in my prayers every day and you are loved.

Oh Ronda, you are so so loved too! I'm crying with you. I know how rough this is and how disappointing this news was. I know that you are a faith filled person, and no matter what this mortal life hands you, God is still on His throne. But remember, God made you human. You were born with human feelings and emotions. It's ok to be scared, it's ok to be disappointed, it's even ok to be angry sometimes.All of these emotions are part of the way we work through things. Give yourself permission to feel sad for a little while. Without sadness we wouldn't understand joy as much. You are loved and supported so very much...by family and friends and even strangers. As a cancer survivor, I sometimes considered it a game of hide and seek. You go through periods of great success and then periods where the cancer seems to be gaining the upper hand. Through it all, don't lose hope. There is always something to be hopeful about. Yes, lets get these areas on your lower back taken care of. There are ways to help with the hair loss and the nausea. My last cancer treatment was in 2009, so I'm quite sure things have changed since then...but here was the cocktail of things that really worked for my nausea (which could be brutal at times). First I had steroids for a couple of days before chemo...when I got to the infusion, they gave me IV Benadryl and IV Ativan...both help with nausea. Then I got the big guns, which was something called Aloxi and another one called Emend. Then, for breakthrough nausea I was given phenergen (made me very sleepy though) and Zofran. In truth, the Ativan helped the most. In the 13 years since then, I'm sure there are others out there. There is absolutely something that will help with nausea. Hang in their Ronda. We love you.

Even as your telling your latest update I see the smile on your face that is an encouragement, you are so uplifting and I wish I had half your strength! I just told my children and mom I'm starting treatment for rheumatoid arthritis Lupus and TB😢i'm hopeful and grateful that after 5 years I'm finally getting somewhere. I know about all the emotions, nausea and loneliness, but I also know that God is with me and helps me get through it. Came a cross this a little later after you posted. A good video to watch that Dr Berg interviews a cancer survivor. It is called what to eat to kill cancer, once you have cancer. I am a cancer person too, late stage going on a little over two years, I was told no surgery or radiation, after 2 1/2 months on chemo I went into remission, 8 months later cancer back, did surgery in November of 2021 to remove the breast, and 18 lymph nodes six had cancer in them and the breast also. Did a PET scan 2 months later, still showing cancer, continued on my immunotherapy and got more serious with my diet and water fasting, had a PET scan in June and I am back in remission, like you, the Lord has blessed me to take the treatments like I never took them, I have felt great through this journey, but anytime the cancer is in lymph nodes you have to do more than what the doctors are offering. Keto diet is a big help, and fasting gives the body rest, it also helps with the nausea when doing any chemo. I am wishing and praying they get your cancer under control or in remission.❤
