What type of eggplants are these? Excited to try this recipe 😊
They were small egg plants that I found in Lebanon. I believe they might be called Indian eggplants.
Hello, I tried to make this recipe, however, after I cooked them the leaves broke and it was like a soup in the pot , the ones that didn’t broke they were so fragile that the broke when trying to take them out of the pot. I used grape leaves from a can because I’m in Canada, any advise ?
You may have put too much water/ sauce, so maybe use a little less. When you press the plate like I did in the video make sure the water doesn't go too much above the plate. Also, you have to let it cool down before serving or else this will happen. I hope these tips help!

For the grape leaves you may have overcooked them. Try cooking it for 20-25 minutes on medium heat.
